IT WORKS !!!!
I had a HUGE rat problem in my backyard (I'm talking 10 to 15 rats). It was so bad that one of my neighbors who had complained about my rat problem, actually called the "Health Department" on me. The Health Department sent me letters threatening to fine me for $1500 if I didn't address the problem quickly. But I just didn't have the heart to kill the rats. So I browsed the internet looking for an alternative to killing the rats. I searched and searched the internet until I ran into this product. Although I was a little hesitant at first about buying this product due to its price, I decided to give it a try anyway, as I had no other option available to me and didn't want to get fined. So I ordered this product and bought some “bait stations” to put this product in. Evolve birthcontrol comes in the form of sausages to make the product taste and smell appetizing to rats. Soon after receiving this product, I started putting it in the bait stations that I had bought for it. I then placed the bait stations in my back yard. The rats refused to eat the product at first, so I tried luring the rats to the Evolve sausages by putting little pieces of bread covered with peanut butter in the bait stations. I covered the Evolve sausages with peanut butter as well. Pretty soon, they started eating the Evolve sausages and even seemed to like them. After giving the rats these Evolve sausages for about three months, I noticed that their numbers didn't seem to be on the rise anymore. Although the manufacturer of this product only recommends this product to be given to the rats for four weeks to make them infertile, I decided to give it to them for three months to ensure that all 10 to 15 rats got a sufficient amount of the birthcontrol. About two months later, I noticed that their numbers seemed to be dwindling. I read online that a rat can live anywhere between 8 to 12 months and since these rats had already lived in my backyard for a few months, I knew that they didn't have long to go. Today, seven months later, my property is completely rat free. Not one rat left behind on my property. And the neighbor who had called the Health Department on me, tried to apologize to me for reporting me, but I wouldn't give him the time of day because he broke the good neighbor policy by "ratting" on me. Anyways, I got rid of the rat problem in my backyard WITHOUT KILLING EVEN ONE RAT. And I believe that God is happy with me for that.

Rodents luv it. I want to see nothing move though.
I just say this it's good idea if you can afford to keep buying. I will say I put the bag in my closet and when I looked back the bag was empty the mice got it. I broke down and got a cat and use the dirty cat litter around the outside of my house because it was like my house was infested. The cat was killing 4 mice a day. The city does nothing or the rodent issues in Gary Indiana. I can say I use them outside my yard with other bait poison also in jugs and you could tell something was eating it up some jugs look tore up like a feeding frenzy.

Rats didn’t need it.
I put this in my bait stations. There was no sign of rats eating it in any of my Six stations.

good addition to rodent control strategy
UPDATE: I bought a few bags of this over the past couple years and it seems to work well when you use it correctly in tandem with other things like snap traps. I have chickens and ducks and we live in a very old falling apart mobile home so it’s not hard for rodents to find places to cause problems. My last review was pretty long and I’m hoping to shorten it and get to the points. This will not get rid of the rats alone, but used intend with traps and other methods can keep them in check in my case I live in the woods, plus the other factors mentioned above. I have to constantly be on rodent patrol. I have multiple bird pens and I’ve worked hard at making sure there’s no food spillage what I didn’t expect was I have the bags of bait inside a large plastic bag a Ziploc on a shelf in our building there’s a hole we have to patch or something shoot its way in when I used to keep food in there and no longer do now. We also have a bad habit of leaving the door to the building open because we’re constantly going in and out of there I went in today to discover. They like the bait so much that they ripped down and ate the entire bag. OK it was like 60% full at this point but still. So if you’re worried about them eating it don’t they will love it.

The Rats Seem To Like Them!
I hate having rats! But we have chickens and the rats have a continual food and water source. So, the birth control option seemed reasonable. We also have been using traps. The rat population is decreasing. I can't honestly comment on how effective the birth control is, however the little sausages have disappeared until recently. I think because the rats are being killed they aren't eating as many bait sausages. I will say they need to be used up as the last few in the bag appeared to have mold growing on them. I ordered more, but I'm not sure how fast I can use them up. They're are not messy and there's no leakage. However I don't handle them with my bare hands, for one I don't want human scent to deter the rats and I just don't want the stuff on me. They are good smelling and do smell like sausage. Time will tell. A neighbor highly recommended them to me and I think they have to be helping reduce the population. Rats produce rapidly!

Solved the rodent problem
This stuff is amazing. I tried everything to get rid of the rats hanging around the chicken coop. I was afraid to use poison because of my birds and wildlife in the area. I bought a small bag of Evolve to try it. After 2 weeks I noticed a reduction in the rat population so I bought the large bag of Evolve. It’s been three weeks now and I’m so happy with this product. In a few more weeks I expect my rodent problem to be solved. I’ll continue to use Evolve for maintenance in case they return. I’m so glad I found this!

Highly recommend
This stuff is great I had a bunch of rats pregnant and they wound up not having the babies and two or three months went by before and he had any more and they only had one or two and only a couple of them had babies so I highly recommend this this will definitely cut down the population. Also I had left the bag out and hadn't had a chance to put it down and they got in the bag and ate the whole entire bag.

This works & thankfully now available in the UK!
I'm so happy to be able to finally buy this in the UK! I'd previously spent £60 getting it imported from the US as my evil neighbour had poisoned my family of 3 hedgehogs and my rescue birds by throwing rat poison everywhere. It makes no sense that poison that takes days to erode an animals veins and arteries in excruciating pain is available in supermarkets in the UK yet this wasn't. I can say in the year since using this I'd only seen a few elderly ratties plodding around, living out their natural lifespan before dying off... no newbies. This product is groundbreaking in humane population control. I'm thrilled to be able to buy it in the UK. I hope councils start to use it. Make poison illegal!

Long wait for delivery
Took a long time to arrive, stuck in customs. I put one sausage out every morning and evening and they are both taken which is good. Won't know if effective for a long time. Put another two in a bait box but they haven;t been touched yet.

Not tested sufficiently to rate
Still have rats so can't comment on how well they work. I'd imagine you need to use these for a good 6 months to catch all the rats in the area until you can comment.
