Dirt Devil Scorpion Plus Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, Powerful Suction, Lightweight, Includes Pivoting Stair and Upholstery Tool, Crevice Tool, Corded Portable Vacuum Cleaner

This handheld is awesome. I bought it primarily to vacuum my stairs, I was previously using the extender on my regular vacuum. But the poor suction and small coverage left the stairs matted and not clean enough for my liking. This handheld is a perfect size for stairs and has great suction, like a powerful little vacuum — exactly what I wanted. Performance is great! I vacuum my stairs every week, and this sucked up so much dust that my other vacuum just wasn’t getting (as I suspected). Dust cup full after one use! Excuse the heavy breathing in the video, lol I am deep cleaning and this is the last step!

This little vacuum works great. I tested it on my couch first just to get a feel for what to expect and it worked really well. Normally I have to scrape the couch with the chisel tool on my big vacuum and cleaning inside is a pain. I vacuumed my couch cushions inside and out the back and under the cushions in about two minutes. For my stairs, the cord was not long enough and you might need an extension cord. It did a great job of picking up hair and dirt. It pulled up the pile on the high traffic areas but it did have a little bit of trouble with the higher pile. The swivel head is too easy to knock out of position and I will probably glue it in place. My only complaints are that the court is not long enough and that most of the dirt gets trapped in the felt like filter.

The flip down crevice tool broke on the first use. There was probably a much better way to implement this feature. (This part was written by my son, who broke the crevice tool on HIS first use). Other than that it's a great tool. Very good suction and easy to use. The cord could be a bit longer.

Works great on the stairs but wish the cord was a little longer, had to feed it through the railing to reach the bottom step of the split level entry stairs. I used the spinning roller bar brush attachment thingy that old stand up vacuums have, for the flat part of the steps then took the attachment off to get in the crease where the flat step and vertical riser to the next step up meet. Works great and easy to use!

After returning two handheld vacuums, both brands unknown to me, I decided on Dirt Devil. What a difference. The Scorpion(with A/C cord) offers a lot of suction with each attachment. Maybe a little noisy, but that didn’t matter to me. . No problem picking up even the smallest pieces of yarn which my Roomba always left behind. All attachments are easy to snap on and off, especially batter bar……that sucked up everything in its path. I highly recommend.

It gets really hot after I used it for just a few minutes, which I don’t like all that hot air blowing out at me. The suction is great but attaching the different attachments was a bit hard for me at my age (92). I will have to wait until a family member visits to show how the “quick” flip of the crevice tool comes down. My hands aren’t as strong as they used to be. The hose would be easier to handle if it was a little longer in length. I hope the over heating isn’t dangerous to use for more than few minutes. It really picked up the dust from the sofa. I haven’t been able to detach the filter, so that’s another thing I will need help with. I have a dirt devil stick vac and have used it for a few years for my wood floors and it is still going strong which is why I chose another Dirt Devil product to clean my sofa. But I am satisfied with the power and price of this vac.I will give it 3 stars because I am sure my problem with this vac can be handled easily by someone younger..

This vacuum is great quality it is corded which I prefer you will never run out of power imthe cord is long I like the attachments I used it on our cat condo and it done an amazing job thank you dirt devil for for making this hand vacuum easy to use assembly is easy pet hair pickup is fantastic noise is goid don't have to worry about battery life I wish Dirt Devil could send me a upright vacuum you will not regret it

It was time to replace my 30-year old Dirt Devil hand vacuum. I specifically use it to vacuum my stairs and it is amazing. The motor is still good but the fabric bag that holds the paper bag ripped so I bought a new Dirt Devil. They don’t make them like they use to and sadly they are not the same quality. First, the cord is very short and I need to use an extension cord since I don’t have wall plugs along my stairs, just at the top and bottom of the stairs. While it’s not as loud as the old Dirt Devil, it is louder than I expected. The suction isn’t as great even though it’s not cordless. And while I appreciate the plastic canister for the debris, I found debris gets stuck in the corners of the canister and hard to dislodge. But for the price, it’s a good value. I just can’t imagine it will last 30 years though!!

Voldeed niet aan de normen van België. De voltage van Belgie is 240 volt .de handstofzuiger was maar 140 volt. Was niet duidelijk vermeld.de stekker was ook niet naar onze normen.. Jammer!!! Was anders een handig stofzuiger.was ideaal voor wat ik zocht!

.......it has lots of power and suction.....so much more better than the cordless ones. it picks up the dirt and the pet hair! l have 3 dogs and 2 cats and this corded handheld keeps my couch and their beds free from hair!

La compre pensando que era de 220voltios y cuando la probé casi se quema pero la apague rapido, ahora compre un comversor de energia a A 110voltios y no funciona creo que se quemo, esto no se deberia vender sin que diga claramente que no es compatible con la energía normal de cualkier casa de españa, y europa, la maquina es bonita pero es un engaño ahora tengo una aspiradora nueva que no funciona

Una pena que no durará ni un minuto encendida porque tenía buena pinta.
