Black Girl Sunscreen Make It Matte SPF 45 Gel for Face - 1.7 Fl Oz

I am completely satisfied with this sunscreen! I use it on my face, it moisturizes and there is NO white casting left on my face after I’ve applied it; just a radiant glow. I HIGHLY recommend this product for women whom have some to a lot of melanin within their skin tone. I have oily skin, and I enjoy a dewy look, with that being said, that’s what this product is giving ME; it may be different for those of you with a different skin type. I’m not experiencing much of a matte effect, but I’m completely fine with that.

I’ve using Tazorac and AHA/BHAs regularly for some years now, so sunscreen has always been a MUST. However, even after a lot of sunscreen brands improved in their formulations for darker skin tones (no more white cast) most sunscreens for darker skin give a “dewy” look which made my already oily/shiny skin look super greasy. Yuck! Make It Matte is matte and STAYS matte- even after reapplication! It goes on smoothly, & works excellently over make up. I’ll continue to purchase as long the formulation stays the same. 10/10 recommend for those looking for a good sunscreen that give full matte

I had to edit my review because of how fast my skin got used to this sun screen and it stopped producing the great matting effect like it did almost 1 month ago... I'm Black with dark skin, large and oily pores. I like it because it goes on so smoothly, the consistency kind of reminds me of aloe vera gel, and its matting effect doesn't turn me ashy or dull. But there is a moderate amount of pilling with both my gel and cream moisturizer unless you apply it like right after you put on your moisturizer. Often though, I'm not leaving the house right after I apply my morning moisturizers, so I tend to wait until afternoon or just before I leave the house to put this sunscreen on, then it pills. Kind of annoying. Overall though a very affordable sunscreen for brown and Black people, and I do still recommend it

This product is so much better than the Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30. The application is much smoother, and it does not leave a chalky white cast on my face.

Finally a lightweight gel sunscreen that does not leave your skin feeling sticky. I enjoyed thid product and will check out more of their product line

I have very sensitive skin and have tried.soo many formulas. This one is Amazing. It has no smell and you can't feel it after it's on the skin. It's a clear silicone like finish but amazingly doesn't break me out like other silicone sunscreens... if you have oily and sensitive skin and hate the smell if traditional sunscreen this is for you!

I’ve been trying this out for 2 weeks straight and although it’s supposed to be matte it doesn’t seem to work for my skin. I have oily skin and this is a bit greasy on me and doesn’t prevent the shine. I love that it’s clear and there’s no flaking or cast.
