Bought my first pair in Hawaii on vacation at the start of 2018. At first I just thought, ok, they’re cute and they fit differently than others I see and own. Then I did everything in them daily from extreme labor in the yard, to multi mile walks, to just going out with friends. Flip flops are hands down my preferred shoe preference to start. These were like magic though because they fit every activity! Perpetually brand new, seriously comfortable, really cute flip flop perfection. Low profile, easy to pack, never lost their shape or even changed their shape, perfectly fitting the bottoms of my feet. So now in mid 2024 when they finally started to show wear at the thong, I came online to get the same style. Thank goodness they still have it. These are the same fit, just not the same color scheme, and I’ll miss my old color scheme, but I doubt I will for long! They’re just that good. Important on sizing is that I am always a 6.5, and in full size only option shoes, I’ve only otherwise ever been a 7. This is the only style I’ve ever been an 8 in, and I have been an 8 in both pairs. They were too short for my liking in the heel in a 7. So if you don’t like flip flops short on the heel, size up. I purchased my first pair of OLUKAI Ho'opio flip flops back in 2016 when my family was vacationing in Oahu, and they are my absolute favorite flip flops ever. In fact, they are my favorite footwear ever, and if I had to choose only one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of my life, I would choose these. I love them so much that they are the first pair of flip flops I ever wore until they couldn't be worn anymore because I wear them for literally everything--beach, date night, mowing the lawn, running errands--literally ANY occasion. Living in WI, I switch out the shoes I keep on my shoe mat next to our door to accommodate the seasons, but these flip flops stay out year-round because I wear them to drive my kids to school in the winter sometimes. Why are they so great? Because they're comfortable (even when wet), waterproof, quick drying, easy to clean, compatible with pretty much any outfit, and they are VERY well made. I wore the heck out of my first pair, and they lasted almost 7 years! I freaked out for a few seconds when the toe band detached on one flip flop last week, but then I remembered that I could just order a new pair. (By the way, this is the first time in my life that I've ever ordered a new pair of the exact same shoes.) While I waited for the new pair to arrive, I worried that the quality or construction of this flip flop may have changed the way they do with so many other products over time, but I'm very happy to report that my new Ho'opio flip flops are as awesome as the first pair I had! To the makers of this flip flop: Thank you for making such a high-quality product and for not changing the design over the past 7 years.

These sandals are stylish, comfortable and well made. They will look good with shorts and summer dresses. I bought them for a trip where we will be spending a lot of time at the beach. They are made to stand up to the sand and will rinse off and look new again! Just what I wanted!

Always need at least one pair of these in my closet!

I can not express enough how much I love Olukai products! Ho’opio, specifically, are supportive, comfortable, and transition easily between water, beach, and pavement. I personally can’t live without these sandals in my life! Sandals run true to size and ready to wear immediately.

Runs small now! I ordered 7 first and then 8 which barely fits. I compared previous flops exact same style and there is noticeable difference in size now

My second pair and totally worth the price. I wear these flip flops practically every day here in coastal NC during the majority of the year. They provide the arch support I need and have held up incredibly well. I got this second (identical) pair simply because the originals were looking a bit rough, and I really like to wear them everywhere! Unlike other cheaper versions, these haven't stretched out and they dry out and look just fine after getting wet.

I bought these in a gold/clay version about 4 years ago when I moved to Florida, randomly at a local boutique. These ended up being my favorite, most comfortable, and most durable sandal. I finally decided to buy them in black for more versatility with other outfits. The price is hard to swallow when you're considering a beach sandal, but let me just say that having had these for so long and with zero breakdown even after wearing the hell out of them is all the convincing I needed to spend $80 on another pair. I may even go ahead and get yet another color just to have a back-up pair in case they discontinue the style. I am currently waiting for the black ones to arrive and I only hope they're just as amazing. I will update the review if there's any change in my opinion.

Love them. I think I would get the ones with the wider top part next time because it was digging a bit. The smaller one is very elegant though

I was replacing a pair I bought that broke

Purchased a pair in Boston several years ago and loved them. This pair is ok....the band between my toes is significantly thinner which is far less comfortable. Seems quality has gone down, but not the price.
