On the palate, it’s beautifully balanced. There’s none of that harsh alcohol bite you get with cheaper gins; instead, it’s smooth and layered. The botanicals unfold gradually — a clean piney start, subtle citrus brightness, and a dry, peppery finish that lingers just long enough. It’s classic London Dry in spirit, but with a Scottish soul. The apple note (from the local Coul Blush apples, apparently) is what makes it unique — gentle, not sweet — and it gives the gin a natural freshness that pairs perfectly with a simple tonic and slice of red apple instead of the usual lime. Great gin bought at a great price. I have already ordered another bottle. It was a lovely smooth gin and went with elderflower tonic beautifully.

Great gin a treat to drink

I'm not much of a gin drinker myself, but my wife likes the stuff, and I thought I'd treat her to something for Christmas that was different from the usual brand she drinks. It comes in a nice looking bottle, and this was one of the reasons I went for this one. I've not tried it myself, but it certainly went down well with my wife, and she definitely enjoyed drinking it.

Smooth and clean tasting - makes for an excellent home-measure gin and tonic

This gin is incredible! I just came here to buy more and write a review. I am a huge gin fan and have tried more than I'd care to admit but this one is an absolute knockout. It's smooth, delicious and fantastic quality. I haven't tried it with the recommended apple garnish yet but I can confirm it's superb with both orange peel and lemon. I love this and it has immediately become a new favourite.
