Surprisingly sturdy build quality for the price point. I use this as a "portable studio" setup. Powerful enough to offer a decent key light on its own, small enough to hold in one hand and shoot in the other. Comes with a really well designed and secure carry case. Definitely great value for money -- considering the price difference, I'd say it's much better value than Profoto. Works seamlessly with the Godox wireless trigger with literally no setup apart from syncing them once. Can't wait to add to my Godox kit!!

The Godox AD200 Pro II is a solid, reliable piece of kit. The battery life and functionality are both great. I've used on a 4 hour shoot and there was still plenty of battery life left. I use the Godox on-camera wireless transmitter on a Canon 5DMk4 and everything just works seamlessly. Would definitely get another one when needed.

I've been using an AD200 pro for about three years but this seems to be a real step up (the AD200 pro is excellent too!). It's a powerful but still very compact light which is highly portable and it's easier to set up than its predecessor. It comes with a good range of accessories included, but it can be used with most brands of 'Speedlight' flash accessories by Lastolite, Neewer etc. Godox flashes are well made and reliable and are, in some ways, more adaptable than OEM flashes.

The AD200 Pro II is a culmination of years of wanting a unit to replace the earlier game changing AD200. I have a boatload of GODOX products but when I'm shooting an event, my go to is the Godox AD200. Now, the new AD200 Pro II has given me a flexibility I never had with the earlier model. Not only can I still have the flexibility of the bulb unit, the built-in multi-temperature LED's take me to the next level. I can use the LED ring light for mobile video at events where I'm shooting candids and doing on the spot quickie interviews or just use it for providing the light I need for the autofocus on the camera to give me the best focus possible. I can also pair the unit up with the Godox flexible rubber screen protector and stand which I can use as a fill light that I place where I want for various lighting setups or fill needs. But the real game changer is the new PB 960 Godox battery access port that allows me to use that battery externally in conjunction with the regular Godox AD200 Pro II rechargeable battery. More full or half power shots than before which was more than I used on a regular basis anyway. I also love the fact that I can use a dummy battery connector that can be connected to an external 99W V-Mount battery for another power source option. The cable plugs into the D-TAP port on the battery. Get them all if you can. You won't regret it. P.S. As most of us professionals do, I improvised a reflector accessory (with a rubber band) onto my AD200 Pro II so that I can use it vertically to reflect light when I'm shooting in candid event mode. It's Jerri-rigged but it works.

The perfect lightweight flash. In the outside sometimes I might need more power, but it serves all my projects flawlessly. After a full day of shooting I still had 1/2 battery. Really great flash! I would buy again and again no doubt

Absolutely love this AD200 Pro II. Perfect size for a large soft box or instead with the AD-S2 (won't attract onlookers attention). Without a soft box, a carbon fiber 600 grams, 7 feet light weight stand works nicely. Easy for run and gun shoots. The unit goes as low as 1/512, screen is bright even out in the sun, thermals are well-managed, quick recycle time. I don't use HSS, so haven't experienced over heating. My unit is brand new, unopened. Very happy about this purchase. Will add more Godox lights for my photography needs.
