What is the difference between pharmaceutical grade mag oxide and non pharmaceutical grade? is this usp?

We were asked by our Dr. to use this particular mag oxide, so we do, from what I have learned, it outsells and outperforms any other mag oxide. So I cannot exactly answer your question, we just think it is the best available.

Mag-Ox® 400 tablets are very small; only 7/16” in diameter and 1/8” thick! They are also coated so that they are easy to swallow.

Not being Jewish, I don't know specifically the actions that make items kosher. I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the product. What I can say about this product which was recommended to me by m Dr., is that I no longer have those loathsome leg cramps. I have been purchasing them on a continuing basis.
