Replacement for Sony-TV-Voice-Remote-Control, Compatible with Sony Bravia XR/XBR/KD Series 4K/8K LED OLED Google/Android Smart TVs (1 Year Warranty)

My old remote (left) had intermittently stopped working. And I was able to whack it on the couch or on my palm and get it to work so I let it go for a while. But it had become so bad. I bought this and then one day later it came. It instantly was paired to the TV when I put batteries in. But I followed the instructions and paired it through to settings menu. All the buttons seem to work and the TV is much more responsive in the UI than it was previously. For the money. This is the single best thing I could have bought for this TV. This is just the initial 5 minutes of having it. I don't know the longevity but so far so good. Long term: I will update here if there's anything overtime that changes. As of now 5 minutes of having it. It's a great remote. It looks identical (right) to the one before except the quick buttons are updated. For the money. Great purchase. Worked right away and use the same AAA batteries. Probably made in the same factory and sold under a different brand I would think. But I don't care because it works great.

So far this works great! Paired immediately out of the box but the voice control wasn’t working so I repaired it by pressing back button and play button simultaneously for five seconds. After the tv told me it was successfully paired the voice control worked perfectly fine.

Update: I followed the "Help" guide included when I was ready to return it. As technologically challenged as I am, i made even the mic work Had to upgrade to 5 stars. I've had three of these now. The mic never works. I just keep losing them.

Original remote started having issues with some buttons getting harder to press. This had decent reviews, so took a chance on it. Glad I did. This remote works very well. Easy to set up and pair with tv and all buttons I've tried work like the original.

Works well. Good button options. The speaker picks up my voice easily.

Should be a five star. However the voice recognition doest work. It's fine it works great other wise. We'll it does always state remote battery low. Brand new batteries.

Great to have when the kids keep misplacing the remotes!!
