Like a little drink and easy to open
These are great. I’ve tried a few gels and they are quite gloopy and make me feel sick on runs. These are more watery and like a little drink. They taste fine, a bit like synthetic orange squash but refreshing. The packs are easy to open as you run along as well. I took three on a half marathon distance, i haven’t used gels before because they make me feel sick and I didn’t ever feel like i needed them but I needed to find something I can manage as I’m hoping to run further so will need to take something. They definitely gave me energy and felt like i could have run further!

Great Gels for runs with a 'drink like' consistency
I have tried other Gels and found they were too thick in consistency and made me feel queasy these Aqua Gels are more like a drink, much easier to take and give you an energy boost mid run. The only downside is they are quiet hard to open, especially with sweaty hands and if you're not careful can leave a sticky residue on your hands.

Less gel and sticky compared to others.
Nice tasting gel which, as the name suggests, is a little more watery and less syrupy than others. Very easy to carry and standard size for a more liquid gel. Gives similar calories as other gels and for the price I think about the cheapest. Can be a little surprising how quickly the liquid comes out at first and then as with other gels the end of the packet just refuses to budge. Definitely worth trying for the cost.

More liquidy, easier to take than the gloopy ones. Not quite so sweet either, sticking with these for a while.

Nice flavour and easy to drink
These running energy gels are fantastic, so much nicer than the thicker gel alternatives which I personally don’t like. These are more like a juice and much easier to drink because of this. Only slight criticism is that the packets are quite tough to open if you try to do whilst still running

More watery than the standard ones
These taste nice and are easy to open on the goThey are a lot more watery (less gel like) than standard ones - theyre different. Not as preferable for me but others may prefer.

Nice orange taste
Brought for my husband for the Manchester marathon. He said they probably tasted the best out of others he’s tried. Nice and refreshing, not gloopy.

Great taste and easy to absorb! No GI upset! The Aqua Liquid is superb, especially if you missed a water aid station!
