Couldn’t recommend enough
Love these for smoothing out corners in clay. I love working with clay but I also love having my nails done, so these allowed me to get into hard to reach places! I use them frequently!

Okay, but...
3 stars because the largest tool had flawed ridges all around it so I had to throw it away. I bought a set with a larger variety of modeling tools that is around the same price as this set that came with these ball end tools that ended up being better quality.

Works for making soft glass beads
I use these balls to create indentations for eyes on my glass beads. It was easy to remove the plastic covering from the shaft using a utility knife. That made them nonflammable.

Good For Caulkings And Putties
I work as a Yacht Builder and daily need to use putties and caulking. I have a variety of different putty knives ground so they have a round end, at work we call them "Radius Knives" They work fine but any little angle you hold the knife at other than 90 degrees gives you a different radius. And if you are inside a cabinet and have to do half of the job left to right and need to finish right to left, you always get a ridge line because of the different angles you inevitably held it at. Now with these "radius balls" there is no angle change, it is a ball so no matter how you hold it you will get the same radius with it. The vinyl(?) handles are comfy, gives you a good grab on the tool. This vinyl is not affected by Mineral Spirits, Denatured Alcohol or Acetone. So far everything has cleaned up nicely off the tool and also the handle. I use not only caulking, but also polyester and vinylester products (marine grade "Bondo"), and occasionally some thickened epoxy. Cleaned up nicely before the products cured.
