Roberts and Hedges’ Clinical Procedures in Emergency Medicine and Acute Care

Have used this procedure book for the past 15 years working in the emerge department. This is the best resource available for procedures for medical students, residence and emergency medicine healthcare professionals.

This is the book for procedures regardless of patient setting. Extremely thorough and educational. The contents of this book go far beyond a set by set approach to a procedure. The videos that come with the book are also much better than anything that can be found on YouTube.

It had been many years since I owned an edition of Roberts and Hedges. Glad I bought it. If you had to choose one EM textbook this would be it. Now with the Expert Consult download you also have access online and to all the videos.

Excellent all around resource for any procedures you might need to know about or perform. Excellent, easy to understand descriptions and pictures.

The definitive work on the subject. Still refer to it frequently and always learn something more. Can’t live without it, and with a fresh update and better-than-ever figures and photos.

As soon as I scanned the QR code it said my account had been deleted but this is a brand new book. The code also doesn’t work which means I can’t get digital access and the book is too large to carry. I’ve sent a message to Elsevier to see if they can help but it will take 48 hours before they get back to me.
