5 hours later, my f250 does so many more things it was never meant to. Love Forscan and the mods that are available

Totally worth the money. Save big time
I bought this to be able to resync my keys to the new (refurbished) ECU for a 2007 Mazda 5 with a laptop and the ForScan software l was able to save $250 that is what Locksmiths charge for rekeying two keys. It has many other advantages over a simple OBD2 scanner that only reads and does not write to the ECU. I highly recommend this to a savvy DYIer.

It works with Forscan but forscan will give a message that it is not recommended.

Works fine with FORScan on mid-2000's Ford Flex and Ford Explorer. Watch out for the included CD!
Unit works for the most part. Definitely not the "best" unit out there, but if you want to save a few pennies, this'll get the job done. Mostly. Buyer beware of the included driver/software Mini-CD that comes with the unit though. Mine came pre-loaded with a TROJAN app on the disc! Remember to ALWAYS do a virus scan on all software and discs!
