This device is compact, easy to use and is accurate. What else would someone want in an angle gauge? I don't use it every day, but when I do I feel that it is performing well.

Product being reviewed: POWERTEC 71828 Table Saw Angle Gauge, Digital Angle Finder Protractor, Digital Level Box, 1 Pack, Digital Angle Gauge for Woodworking, Table Saw, Miter Saw I like this angle finder but I need to point out that you'll immediately be frustrated with it as soon as you go to put batteries in it. There's a single screw holding the battery door on. I think a push spring door would've been better. But after you get the screw out, you have to fight to get the battery door to actually come off the unit. There's a small lip that I think is supposed to be to help open it, but I couldn't get it open. Had to get a flat head screwdriver to pry it out. This will be especially irritating when you're in the middle of a job and have to swap batteries. Could've been better to use USB-C and a built-in battery. Anyway, the unit itself is very simple but works well from what I can tell. It seems to be very sensitive to small deviations in angle, which is good for a product like this. Recommended if you can deal with battery door issues.

Hard to find tools for woodworking at a budget friendly price. And this one checks all the boxes. The magnet is strong enough to hold it well. And it’s consistent. For the price there’s nothing negative to say.

Miters are perfect now
Works really well. Very sensitive. Could not seem to cut good miters with triangle setup. Using this gets me perfect miters. It seems to work at any angle except 90 degrees, then it wants to jump around a little bit. My square does that just fine. The magnets are strong enough to hold on the edge of my square (about 1/16 inch) so it holds on everything I have tried.
