  • Rain Bird CP100 In-Line Automatic Sprinkler Valve, 1" Threaded Female Inlet x Female Outlet. Rain Bird manufactures only
the highest quality In-Line valves. This residential and light commercial grade In-Line valve replaces all in-line
irrigation valves installed below ground with 1" female threaded inlet and outlet. For use with any 24 volt AC
irrigation timer/controller. Unique reverse-flow design helps prevent flooding in the event of internal diaphragm
failure keeping the valve closed and saving water. Valve operates automatically or manually with manual bleed screw.
Buna-N (nitrile rubber) diaphragm offers superior performance in harsh water environments. Features an energy-efficient,
low power encapsulated solenoid with captured plunger. May be used with all types of watering devices including Rain
Bird spray heads, rotors, and impacts. In-Line valves are installed below ground in a valve box downstream from the main
line from a PVB or double-check valve. After installation and before startup, always flush the system of dirt and debris
manually using the valve's external bleed screw. In-Line valves will not prevent back flow on their own; they require a
back flow prevention device. Use In-Line valves in locations where the use of a pressure vacuum breaker (PVB) or a
double-check valve is required by city codes to protect against back flow. Check local city codes to determine what type
of valves are required. Also available (sold separately) in 3/4" model: CP075. Rain Bird “The Intelligent Use of Water”
