Sunlite Standard Presta Valve Bicycle Tubes

Has held up really well over the years! These tire tubes have performed very well when needed to repair a flat. Easy to use and they have been perfect. No issues!

I purchased this tube as a replacement after the one that came with my bike got a small hole in it. This tube has now been used for months, inflated at 100 PSI, with a normal amount of pressure loss (face it, this happens with these high PSI tubes) and no issues. I'd estimate I have put 1000 miles on the current tire and tube and this has held up perfectly. The construction seems to be greater or equal to what came on the bike. When I purchased this one, I was weary because I had not heard of the brand and the price was reasonably low. I have not been disappointed with this item at all.

I have about 400 miles on this tube and it is performing as expected, construction seems pretty good, somewhat thinner and lighter rubber compared to the Kenda tubes I was using. I have high end road bikes and pressurize to 115 psi usually. It's very important with these tubes to keep the valve stem straight/centered and if the tube comes with a knurled nut I wouldn't use it, if you tighten it too much it will rip the valve stem base. Fill and deflate new tubes 3 times to get them situated in the tire.

I live in the North West. If anyone has ever biked out here you know about goathead thorns. These mother f====rs use to make my life hell. Since switching to a 10 speed/road tires that is no longer an issue. 100 PSI sure can repel ALOTTA HOLECRAP. I useto have standard 50-80 PSI tires on my bikes.. they got flats WEEKLY... even the green goo would make it so the tube would last for a month... Since 10 speed, 100 PSI+ tires? I have gotten ONE flat in 6 months, and it was a PINCH flat because I couldn't air the presto valve up ANYWHERE. (Only pet peeve is presto valve, however, the valve itself is great, just the rarity of compatibility is annoying. I have these tubes last me 6+ months of weekly riding of 50+ miles. Hell, my front tube is over 15 months old, ahhahha.

One tube had a hole after a ride and replacement tube had a hole out of the box. Unable to return since new tube I just installed was delivered six weeks ago, and returns are allowed up to four weeks after delivery.

Good tubes...gets the job, done. Unlike many reviewers, I'm not particularly concerned with the difference, in grams, between tubes... Unless you're seriously, and I mean SERIOUSLY competitive, you're engaging in mental masteurbation by concerning yourself with such things. These tubes work, work well, and are durable. If you want to pay more for a few grams less, fap away. As for me, I'll pay half and enjoy being slightly less talented than the pros.

I ride thousands of road miles a year; granted good tires can prevent flats; but some flats are inevitable. I have changed many tires, and actually prefer the quality and thickness of the tubes. It can save you as your tires wear and would prefer in case you have to boot your tire. The price for the longer presta valves is unbeatable; the weight weenies on shaving miligrams or weight with the thinner tubes that tend to flat, well go ahead and continue paying more money for less material and less quality
