My lawn had suffered after neglect and dry summers. It had moss and weeds where grass used to be. This year I decided to repair it. I used the Miracle-Gro after first scarifying the lawn to remove dead grass and moss, then aerated the lawn with a manual hollow-tine tool. I then applied the Miracle -Gro with a rotary spreader for even coverage. The weeds have now gone, and grass is regrowing, although a couple of small patches may need re-seeding. The grass on the majority of the lawn is a rich green, with thick growth and strong blades. It is growing well as it needs to be cut frequently. Scarifying and aerating certainly helped, but I am confident the Miracle-Gro was essential for weed removal and healthy growth of the grass.
