Wonderful Price, Fantastic Quality
Works as intended! While the face buttons (specifically a, b, y, x) do have a 'mush' sensation, I find it more comfortable pressing (or mashing) in rapid succession over hard tactile buttons. The docking station for the controller is wonderful. Once set, it turns off/disconnects the controller from my PC automatically, to ensure the shortest time frame to charge. As soon as I lift the controller off of the station, it reconnects to my PC lightning fast. No mess, no fuss, if/and/or buts. I have yet to connect this controller to my Switch, but I'm sure that will happen eventually (I blame Crimson Desert for that). Did I mention I haven't even begun to mess with controller settings? Just used the controller straight out of the box, zero customizing. Will I tinker with these settings? Possibly in the future. Is it necessary? Unless you take your gaming seriously (which lets be honest, you should only be gaming seriously if it's making you money), absolutely not. Wonderful product overall, with a fantastic price point for the quality you get. The sticks feel very nice as well! I personally have a hard time keeping my left thumb on the left stick comfortably (due to simply sliding off until I'm using the sticks edge) but I've experienced that my whole life. Definitely not a point against the controller itself, just be aware if you have large hands this will tend to happen, alongside accidentally pressing the two back pedals (they are VERY sensitive to pressure). But since I haven't assigned those pedals to any kind of input yet, the problem is negligible. In a world filled with $70, $80, $90 standard replacement controllers, if you're looking for a slightly less expensive third-party alternative, you can't go wrong here.

Awesome controller for the past months!
My GameSir Cyclone 2 has honestly been one of the best controllers I’ve used for PC gaming. Super comfortable to hold during long gaming sessions, the buttons feel responsive, and the sticks are insanely smooth and accurate. The wireless connection is fast with basically no noticeable input delay, and the overall build quality feels premium for the price. I also really like how customizable it is with the RGB lighting, trigger modes, and extra back buttons. It works flawlessly across my games and feels great for everything from racing to shooters. Definitely a solid controller if you want something high quality without spending a fortune.

Great controller 100% recommend
I recently picked up the GameSir Cyclone 2 controller, and I’m honestly really impressed with how premium it feels for the price. Right out of the box, the build quality stands out—the materials feel solid, and the overall design gives it that high-end controller vibe. It has a comfortable weight to it, and it just feels great in your hands during long gaming sessions. The ergonomics are excellent. The grip feels natural, and the buttons, triggers, and thumbsticks all have a responsive, satisfying feel. Everything feels tight and well-made, with no cheap or loose parts. Whether I’m playing fast-paced games or something more relaxed, the controller performs consistently and feels precise. Another thing I really like is how smooth and reliable the connectivity is. It pairs easily and maintains a stable connection without any noticeable lag or dropouts. That makes a big difference, especially in games where timing matters. It’s been a seamless experience across different gaming sessions. Overall, I think the GameSir Cyclone 2 is an amazing value. It delivers a premium feel, solid performance, and great comfort without the premium price tag. If you’re looking for a controller that feels high-end and performs just as well, this is definitely a great choice.

Good pc controller
Connects to pc easily and have not had any connection issues. Feels better than the 8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless. The x,y,a,b button doesnt feel that good compared to the way the bumpers feel. Bumpers feel great and the controller feels sturdy. I think this is the best bang for buck pc controller. I also like the docking thing it comes with. Take it off the docking station and the controller turns on (assuming its plugged into pc).

Good but with some strange design choices
So, I just got this controller, but have had some interesting experiences already. I felt this was worth a quick review for people to be in the know. Some standard details first: the controller is quite light, which usually implies it's cheaply-made. So far, this does not appear to be the case. The buttons and sticks all seem to be of at least passable quality. It feels good in the hand. It does have vibration, though it feels like a subtle vibration. Compared to some controllers, it's very light; but it also doesn't rattle the controller. That's a positive to me. There are two buttons on the back, and you don't need software to program them. That's a HUGE plus. There's also a turbo mode, though I haven't messed with it yet. Now to the weirdness: the connections. This controller has the standard wired connection and 4 wireless settings. The wireless option are: Windows (DS4), Windows with dongle (XInput), Switch (NS), and Android. Mac users apparently should use the DS4 option, as well. Without plugging in additional devices, the DS4 option would be the go-to. BUT the actual PC standard is XInput... so support of DS4 can get rather strange. Using DS4 on Steam is generally OK, because it maps the button well; the downside would be that some games actually support Playstation controllers, so you'll get a Playstation button legend instead of what's prints on the controller. Other games/services may not support DS4, so you'd need a wrapper program. These are easy enough to find online, but that isn't really an entry-level task for people. So, in the end, maybe the dongle's the better option? It's unfortunate that an extra device is needed in 2026 to use a controller. In the end, though, this is a pretty good controller. It just has some weirdness in its input types - the rest is quite solid.

Near perfect controller
Basically the best controller I’ve ever used. Connects easily to the dongle or Bluetooth. Latency is nonexistent. I use this controller for every game I don’t use mouse and keyboard on. Every button is a mouse switch essentially except for the back buttons. The back buttons are not their own buttons but can be programmed to an existing button, which is a downside because I would like to make them keys on the keyboard or a macro or something, but they’re still convenient. Charging station is a little odd and it will sometimes lose connection with it and wake up. This is incredibly annoying and I opt to just remove the dongle when this happens to keep the controller from accidentally connecting to my PC. Software is very nice and easy to use. You can save configs and access them just with the controller. The controller has a lot of preprogrammed functions that you access with different button combos. I need to look at the manual often lol.

It's a solid SIDEGRADE, but misses some features to be considered an "upgrade."
1st Day Ownership review - will edit if necessary I came from a Gamesir G7 SE - prior to that a Gulikit KK2 Pro, prior to that SEVERAL different brands / types of "XBOX" controllers. Pros: ¤ Mappable buttons with "on the fly" profile buttons ¤ Back "paddles" (buttons) ¤ Sticks are adequately tensioned, and the grips are some of the best I've used on the thumbsticks. ¤ Triggers can be swapped from click to linear. ¤ FAR faster return to zero than hall effect sticks from what I can tell, resulting in less "accidental backflips in rocket league when fast aerial'ing. ¤ Software customization for stick linearity, and curve, and RAW mode support) ¤ 1kHz over wireless with included dongle, and over wired without need for funky setup like the G7 SE had.) Cons: ¤ Wired I can't seem to get XInput to work with it for stick polling test, so I think it uses DirectInput for wired. ¤ Included USB cable is a fkn JOKE compared to the one that comes with the G7 SE (it's just your standard 3ft pvc jacketed cord whereas the G7 SE had a braided USB-C cable that's lasted 2 years with no issues yet.) ¤ Thumbstick grip is a LITTLE TOO aggressive and is very "distracting" when playing with it initially, but I'll wear them down and warm up to them. ¤ Sticks don't seem to be easy to swap out like they are with the G7 SE / other controllers. I've tried giving them a DECENT tug and they're going NOWHERE. ¤ ABXY buttons have a VERY short throw compared to any other controller I've used, and as a result have completely altered my gameplay for the time being until I adapt to them. ¤ Mode switch lock for the triggers is embedded INTO them and is a royal pain to manuever if you don't have long nails. ¤ Back buttons can't be physically locked into the "off" position like they can on the G7 SE and are distracting when you move the controller and your finger sinks in more than you expect it to if you don't use them. Adaptation time will be required to convert to new grip method. Overall thoughts: In a lot of ways this controller's DEFINITELY an upgrade over the G7 SE. Faster return to zero, more accurate sticks, and micr-switch buttons generally have an EXPECTED longer lifespan than membrane rubber with conductive coating. However, the lack of ability to physically lock the back buttons was a HUGE oversight, and had I known they couldn't I probably never would've purchased this. The wired and wireless (with dongle, haven't tested bluetooth and have no intention to) both having 1kHz polling and similar (if not the same) response frequency in terms of input to action is GREAT and a HUGE bonus over the corded predecessor. The charging dock doesn't really "hold" the controller. it more just "rests inside small grooves and the metal pins hold it in place" which was a large oversight, too. All in all, if I had KNOWN the back buttons couldn't be locked I wouldn't have bought it, but that would've been likely the ONLY reason.

Solid budget controller with a lot of room to grow into.
Good controller with tremendous programmability--and a few significant flaws of note. First, the switches of the face buttons and d-pad have too much pre-travel. This undermines the feel of the switches themselves, and makes them feel wobble and fragile, especially compared to a Microsoft X-box controller. It's not as bad on the face buttons, but they would feel better if they had a stabilizing ring around them the way Microsoft controllers do. It's much more of a problem with the d-pad where it makes the pad feel mushy. There's more pre-travel than switch travel. It's a lot to take up if you're using the d-pad for anything other than quickslots. This is disappointing because the shape of the d-pad is good. Still, it is very usable and the sticks earn a lot of forgiveness in details like that. There are two paddle buttons on the back that are very easy to reach and unintentionally trigger. I find they perfectly align with the pad of my middle finger right in the center. When pressed dead center like that, they have the tightness lacking in the face buttons and d-pad. If Gamesir made the top buttons as tight as the paddle buttons on the back, this would be a five star controller in spite of it's remaining minor flaws. There is some wiggle and a tiny bit of pretravel when pressing at the edges of the paddle. The sticks themselves are great and immediately resolved the problem that had me looking for a new controller and eyeballing TMR/Hall Effect triggers--the reason you're probably considering them too: no stick drift, and no dead zone. Eventually I expect these will develop some--wear and tear is unavoidable--but these are better out the gate than any other controller I've used. The controller was recognized by the Xbox accessories app and per that apps diagnostics, they had near perfect circularity with .01% deviation on both sticks, which could well come down to user error or just error in general. Definitely greater precision than I can make use of. The gyro seems to work, but I lack experience using gyro aiming, but I can say that when I set the output to mouse I found it required faster movement to trigger than I think is useful if the intent is to improve fine control. The response was much more intuitive and controllable when rotating it like a steering wheel than when adjusting the vertical pitch. Vertical pitch required much snappier movement to trigger a response and the response was faster and greater than with yaw adjustment. The trigger locks are a little inconvenient, but as long as you have enough fingernail length for basic utility--like peeling the overwrap off of new physical media--you won't need a tool to flip the switch. You won't shift them from one mode to the other by accident. When on, they change from TMR to microswitch buttons. They have just the right amount of pretravel that the pretravel is taken up by the tension of resting my finger on the trigger. It feels like a set-trigger, if you're familiar with them. The triggers can also be set up as "hair triggers" in software. This makes them binary, similar to the trigger locks, but without the travel limiter and mechanical switch. It comes in two flavors, both with adjustable actuation points, allowing you to adjust the amount of trigger pull, similar to adjusting the sear on firearm. The rumble motors are asymmetric, with the right-hand motor being smaller with smaller mass and less effect than the left. You can adjust the intensity independently to balance them if you want, but obviously your max balanced strength is the max strength of the smaller mass. I like the customizability, but I wish they were the same mass on both sides and any asymmetry of response handled in software. The greatest flaw I save for last--the thumbsticks have a textured ridge I found to be surprisingly aggressive and sharp. It irritated my thumbs and limited my playtime because I didn't want blisters. It is also the most fixable, as the thumbsticks can be swapped out for less textured thumbsticks, or you can get caps like Kontrol Freaks that will be more gently on your skin. If you go the route of adding a cover, get ones that are Playstation compatible for best fit. I wish the thumbsticks were a little stiffer. They are safely in the middle, being neither very loose nor aggressively tight, but I like stronger resistance on the right thumbstick for better aiming. For all the aforementioned concerns, it's very good, and I think it's a great value.

The standard for controllers
Great value controller, super clicky buttons, hard to go for another controller after this. Only reason to not go for this would be preference for clicky buttons. The value and quality this provides is next to none, anything better is far too overpriced for the little benefits gained and this is priced so economically with all the features needed there is no reason to buy anything cheaper.

Bang for the buck.
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I’ve to say I’m quite spoiled by the dual sense vibrations and haptics so the vibration on this controller felt a bit off but it does the job. The buttons are clicky and feel very nice to press. The sticks are insanely good and accurate. Overall build quality is also good. Software support is also good and lets you customize every aspect of the controller. If you’re looking for a good controller for pc and more, this is a solid choice for the price.
