Interesting stories . Beautiful illustrations. Good value for money. Mon son is in Year 1 and enjoys reading it.

Perfect for phonics learners
The 'Songbirds' books are perfect for phonics learners. Every single word is level- appropriate and yet the stories are all interesting and engaging, even funny. Just be aware that there are three "collections" for Stage 2 Songbirds and there is clear progression between them, so you will want to read them in the correct order.
