Transfer Belt with 7 Handles, Safety Walking Support, Quick Release Buckle

I love this transfer belt. So much better than the ones they have at work. The only complaint I have is it takes a few minutes to adjust the size.

We have a senior adult with Parkinson's and Orthostatic Hypertension, this belt has been amazing. We are able to help her up from bed or when she's sitting, without holding her arms, which was starting to cause her pain sometimes. And whenever she walks, around the house or outside, someone is always within reach and able to grab her "safety belt" (as we call it), to help her balance or sit her down. This belt will fit various sizes. Our person is only 78 lbs., so we pulled the straps tight and used tie wraps to anchor the excess length to the belt. It is comfortable enough that she doesn't even notice it any more. The multiple hand grips make it's functionality better, as we can grab the belt from any side. It is easy to clip on, but not easy for the wearer to remove. Definitely a great value for the cost.

Husband has Parkinson’s. Slipping to the floor from his seated walker occasionally, this has been helpful. So much better for “caretakers” than those gait belts. Snap together. Various handle’s to help either lifting. Would buy again.

Strong - many grab/anchor points - good width belt.

The physical therapists coming to give my mom weekly therapy said to return this, so I did. They all said it's too bulky and not necesary that a simple white gait belt is all you need and they were right. The light weight gait belt I replaced this with was cheaper, lighter and as easy to grab hold of if needed to prevent falls for an elderly parent.

These are the best gait belts available! The ones you get from the hospital are so difficult to use because the clasp doesn’t stay shut or it slips. This one has a snapping mechanism to keep the belt secure. It also has several straps around the belt in different positions so the person being helped can grab onto the caregiver and help themselves. I always use two belts…one on the caregiver and one on the patient. That way they each have something to grab onto!

These were so extremely UNSAFE!! I bought 2 belts and both have broken while transferring my father to his wheelchair and he is not that heavy only weighing 140lbs. DONT BUY!
