we were a bit sceptical at first but this has absolutely done the trick. Our down lights in our media wall were just too bright making our lounge look like a showroom!! After adding the dim-lights to each of the lights our media wall now looks amazing. The lights are on a dimmer switch so we can now have subtle dim lights or bright lights if necessary. Brilliant product and would definitely recommend. If there is a negative it is just that they took a long time to be delivered - small compromise.

Product was delivered really fast. They are simply sticky sheets which you have to cut out yourself and peel off in order to stick over the spotlights. I wasn't expecting to have to do this as thought they would be pre-cut but having said this it is no big deal as I used a glue pot as a template to draw around then cut them out. I found I did not need to cover all of the lights so only did half of them in my kitchen and it has made such a difference...no more glaringly harsh lights. My kitchen has gone from 'Operating Theatre' to a serene space in one easy fix.

I got these an Amazon to reduce the glare off a garden light. I had replaced a pedestal light with a taller ye olde lamp. The higher fitting was directly in line of sight with one seat position in our living room. These dim sheets just had to be trimmed to the glass pane size and then had to be applied by removing the sticky backing sheet. The effect is perfect for my application I.e to reduce dazzle. These would also be perfect for down lights especially in a living area as the downlight can sometimes be distracting.

All good, instructions and free gift was welcome and they do the trick. My wife was complaining that the spot above her desk affected the way she showed up on camera for work calls and the glare was offputting. The filter made all the difference. See before and after in the pics

We had purchased some garden lights and had them installed before realising just how bright the LEDs were. I searched online for a solution to reduce the glare, even contacting the supplier of the lights only to be told that the lights were integrated so we would have to replace the entire unit! I then found LightDims. It seemed cheap enough to give it a go, however I wasn’t holding out much hope. How wrong was I! What an amazing invention...it’s cheap...simple to apply and looks stunning! It also saved us an extortionate amount of money because it meant we didn’t have to buy a whole new set of lights. LightDims far exceed my expectations and we love the result! It dimmed the overly bright lights but the result is a dank, mucky grey, unattractive and unappealing light. Pealed them off and binned them.

If you have problem with LED lighting (I find it glaring, harsh and even nausea-inducing) these filters work wonders. Easy to cut to shape and apply (they can go right over the glass) they have made my new ktchen task lighting in too-bright LED (talked into it by an electrician, big mistake!) more bearable - and cheap to rectify. If only I could now stick them over every LED car headlamp!

Upgraded my car to LEDs. The visor mirror light became way too bright, so I used LightDims to reduce and diffuse its output. The product was easy to install. Just traced it around the plastic lens with a razor blade. Now my lights aren’t harsh, and they have a perfect glow! Glad I stumbled upon this solution, as there were no lower lumen bulbs available.

This product took a while to get here (Cyprus) but it was worth the wait. The sheet is easy to cut out and stick onto the lights and it works - the lights under my cupboards in the kitchen don't look like search lights anymore. I searched hi and lo for something to solve the brightness issue and this product ticks all the boxes - thank you.
