Great colored pencils for the budding artist
My young son is a budding artist and while he's always appreciated his Crayolas, he's been bugging me about a set of Prismacolor pencils for a while now. I broke down and bought them despite the higher cost and I have to say, the difference is easily noticeable. The colors are clearly richer with a deeper pigment and my son loves them. With 48 colors, they come in a nice variety too.

Nice case. You will need a blending pencil and a good sharpener
Taking an art class. Found these pencils to be very good quality. The colors are vibrant and not waxy.

Great, when the cores aren't broken.
We love the colors - when they work. Nearly half of the cores in the ones we've used so far seem to broken inside so we've become very frustrated with the set.
