how accurate is this release date?

Release dates are almost always subject to change. Usually if its announced on Amazon its the confirmed accurate date. They’ve been working on the game for the better part of the past 3 years so I’m fairly confident it’ll be out by August 2020.

At this rate is this game going to be a PS5 launch title?

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 WILL WORK on the PS5 at launch. The upgrade patch for both the new consoles will be available down the road as a free upgrade.
