Written and recorded around a relentless tour schedule (which picked up all over again as soon as the LP was done), SALAD DAYS gives the listener a very personal insight into what it's all about to be Mac amidst the craziness of a rising career in a very public format. I love the vintage aesthetic his songs have, and this album is a prime example of how great his work is. I don't like it when people say "Music today sucks" and generalize all music made in the recent years. Yes everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there IS a lot of great music that has come out from recent years, you just gotta look and really explore genres, you can't just take what the radio or Top 100 charts give you. Mac Demarco is no exception. He's a great musician and he's a cool and funny dude. If you're one of the many people that think there's no good musicians out there today, I recommend you get this album. I got it on vinyl, and I love it. It even comes with a cool poster that I'm gonna hang up in my room. I would recommend getting this if you love Mac Demarco, or if you want to start listening to Mac Demarco.

Such a great album. I could listen to it for hours. Mac Demarco is a great musician from the recent years. Cool tunes
Bought the cd version but it look out of place since the packaging has a sleeve with the album cover. other than that it looks and sounds cool.

Awesome album
My fave tracks were Chamber of Reflection and Blue Boy, but all tracks are excellent and very listenable in all kinds of situations, from social gatherings to parties and in movie soundtracks

Très bon album
C'est un très bon album, l'enregistrement ne présente aucun problème mais je suis dubitatif quant au prix actuel des vinyles. Pourquoi sont-ils si chers ? Leur prix s'arrêtera-t-il de grimper un jour ?

È un disco che dovete mettere, per rilassarvi e per creare un ambiente di musica ben suonata, con ottime idee ed esecuzioni. Psichedelia, folk, indie, ci sta tutto. Ho un locale e devo dire che mette tutti d’accordo e soprattutto ti dà il piacere di ascoltare una musica ben fatta e suonata!

スケーター音楽のような飄々とした印象が残ります。何とも言えない緩さと共にサイケちっくな中毒性もあります。脱力したヴォーカルやヘタウマなギターが小宇宙を醸し出して、9曲目の "Chanber of Reflection"はイントロからオルガンのリフがスペーシーに鳴り、涼しげで、ちょっと寂しさが漂う佳曲です。全体的にメロディーが弱いですが、オススメの一枚です。ガッつくだけが音楽ではないと思うので、メロディアスな音楽を好まれる方も、たまにはこういった緩めの音で羽を休めてはいかがでしょうか?
