Impressive for the price

I have several DVMs on my test bench and needed a carry DVM to throw in my truck. This fit the bill perfectly and accuracy, when tested against my 6-digit bench DVM was within 1%. Excellent.

I left my multimeter in Florida when we came north for the summer so I purchased this meter to use in my electronic restoration work. It works very well and I am quite pleased with my ourchase.

Easy to use, does the job do basic household repairs and DIY remodels, like what I’m doing. Doesn’t measure 15A or 20A circuits, but I can just look at the wire gauge or breaker for that I guess. This is still effective at measuring voltage and current in all normal residential uses including outlets and switches. The long-ish wire and the attachments including alligator clamps are very helpful.

The meter works well, and the fuses are easily accessed from the rear cover. The readings are accurate enough for a hobbyist. I took it abart when it got soaked in the rain.Water just poured right in. There was 0 attempt made at waterproofing; but neither was my fluk.

Works as well as any other in the past.

Excellent product, was surprised by the quality

This is an versatile digital multimeter, that has a lot of features you would find on more expensive brands. Awesome price. This was worth the money. They sell two versions of this model DM6000AR blue and red and black and red. I bought the black and red. People had complaints about the kickstand, that it’s difficult to open. I had no issues. has auto and manual range selection. The lcd screen is 3" and has a backlit light you can turn on and off. it feels nice in your hands. Some reviews say its not accurate. I have had no issues with accuracy or functionality seems to work fine. The probes that come with it seem okay. But I did buy a better set of probes. comes. It seems in the blue version you get hanging magnet strip to hang your meter. The black version does not. it has two test lead probes, alligator clip, multi function socket and k-type thermal lead. the black version uses 3x AAA batteries and the blue version uses 9 volt battery. Great price, Good product for DIY, beginners or hobbyist alike. I would recommend this product. Overall thoughts. Pros: Has all the features and function you would find on name brand meters. Good buy for your first multimeter. Large Display with backlit. Has a handy kickstand. Has all the accessories you need to get started. Cons: Some people find it bulky in their hands, Some better testing lead probes. The black version didn't come with the hanging magnet strip to hang your meter.
