50 Caliber BMG Real Brass Bullet Shaped Bottle Opener

What I really wanted was a straight up 50 cal bullet but you can’t buy ammunition on Amazon. This is an exact replica if I’m not mistaken and I thought it’d be better to have a use if I got a 50 cal bullet for my shelf. Works well as a bottle opener. I don’t drink the funny juice but I do like me a mexicoke when I can find them, and I don’t like to keep a bottle opener on my keys since it’s a rare occasion I would use it. This thing is durable, the size is right on par, it looks great, and it is super easy to use so overall I got what I payed for even though I didn’t get a 50 cal I got something just as good

This 50 caliber casing is definitely authentic. I like the fact that Old Town Brass supports the Wounded Warrior Project and their items are made here in the USA. This 50 cal. bottle opener is a great conversation piece my buddies sure do like it as much as I do. I think it's very sturdy and durable. I have opened many bottles with it since I bought it back in October!! And it hasn't shown any sign of wear I think it will last for years to come. I ordered the one with the velvet bag I wish I would of gotten the one with the hard case instead. I took one picture of this 50 cal. bottle opener next to a .308 cal. bullet so that some people that have never seen a 50 cal. could see the size of this bottle opener! Great product. Exactly as advertised, definitely a real .50 bmg. Mild wear and patina on the casing give it a bit of soul. Works well, heavy in the hand, very simple product at reasonable price. An easy gift to give. The drawstring bag is a nice touch!

Very sturdy. My husband love getting this as a gift. He always is using it and it fits in his pocket perfectly. Great gift for gun enthusiasts!

I've never had a real 50BMG in my hands but the casing appears to be real and previously fired judging by the slight flaring out at the neck. Plus some burned residue still inside it. The bullet is fake (light and you can hear it's hollow when you flick it), but why would it need a real one - this one seems to be nicely made with no machining marks left and the colour looks like fresh copper. It's held in the case solidly. As for its bottle opening abilities, it does a great job; I was worried the brass would be too thin/soft to be durable enough but it bit the top off my bottle tonight as if it was nothing, and I'd imagine will continue to do so for many years. And it just looks awesome on the shelf!
