My favorite EDC flashlight!!
I have carried a flashlight with me every day for years and I have always been searching for the perfect multifunction light - and the HD01 Pro is the one that checks all the boxes! I have been carrying this light for almost 3 months now and it has been such a great experience. This flashlight has a lot of different functions so it takes some time to remember how to access the different modes via a series of click-hold or double/triple clicks but I memorized the UI pretty easily and now I use most of the features almost every single day. Firstly, the white sidelight is awesome, I love using it for tasks where I want clean, diffused light closer to me. Whether I’m doing a quick repair on something or using it as a night light while I’m reading a bedtime story to my son, the sidelight works so well and can get very bright if needed although I mostly use it on low or medium. The added RGB functions are a fun bonus but also the blinking modes can be helpful for making me more visible when it gets dark. The only thing I would change is to also have a sidelight that is on the opposite side of the clip so I could clip the light onto my shirt and use it hands free (it does have a reversible pocket clip but I’m not always wearing a hat to turn this flashlight into a headlamp). The magnet on the back is quite strong and holds the flashlight very well on various surfaces. I have used it on metal cabinets, my fridge, my car, etc. and never had an issue. The main LED of the HD01 Pro illuminates well, I was surprised at how well it illuminates on high especially considering how compact the body of the light is. I hardly ever need to use it on its highest setting but if I do, I know it will be more than enough for most situations where I just need to see where I’m going in the dark. If I need more lumens or a tactical flashlight for a situation then I bring an extra one with me (I have plenty of other flashlights with super high lumens) but the HD01 Pro is still my staple for EDC. The laser is handy to have when trying to point out something from afar or for presentations but I end up using it mostly for fun like having pets chase it around. The UV light is handy for identifying spills or fluids but I use it mostly to recharge my son’s glow-in-the-dark cars at night without having to use the main LED. I love how well the UV light works for charging up the cars and making them glow very well. One tradeoff that has to be made for a flat style flashlight is a built-in battery is typically needed in order to keep the overall size down. I’m OK with this because I don’t charge my flashlight frequently, only when the battery gets low. This helps prolong the battery life compared to frequently charging it. It’s nice that Wurkkos designed it so the indicators around the buttons glow red when the battery gets low. In a future version I’d love to see a digital display of the battery percentage but I know this would make the flashlight more expensive. The best thing about the flat style is how well it fits in my pocket. It make a huge difference having a flat body versus a rounded body for fitting nicely in the pocket and I love it for that. Overall I think Wurkkos hit a home run with this flashlight, it packs so many useful features into a slim design that fits so well in my pocket that I barely notice it. I have carried this flashlight every day for almost 3 months now and I absolutely love it! I hope a future version has an additional sidelight on the opposite side of the pocket clip so I can clip it to my shirt collar and use it hands free. Other than that one change, this flashlight is a 10/10!

Excellent Dual-Purpose Flashlight with Impressive Laser Range
The Wurkkos HD01PRO UV flashlight works great! The UV light is strong and consistent, perfect for checking surfaces or finding hidden stains. The laser pointer is amazing, bright, precise, and has an impressive range that easily outperforms others I’ve used. Build quality feels solid and professional, and the controls are intuitive. Overall, a fantastic multi-functional flashlight that delivers exactly what it promises. Highly recommend for anyone who wants both a reliable UV light and a powerful laser in one compact tool.

Incredible EDC light!
I carry the Wurkkos HD01 Pro almost every day as part of my EDC for both work and home use, and it has been outstanding. It’s compact at just over four inches long and right around 100 grams, so it disappears in your pocket but still feels solid and well built. The aluminum body and hard anodized finish have held up extremely well to daily use. Durability has impressed me the most. This light has taken a beating and continues to perform. The pocket clip is strong and hasn’t lost its shape. The buttons feel solid, and the USB C charging port cover is still intact and tight. I honestly expected that to be the first failure point, but it has held up perfectly. Performance is excellent for a light this size. The main beam outputs up to 1200 lumens, which is more than enough for most tasks. I typically use one of the mid brightness levels and it handles nearly everything I need. When you need full power, it delivers. The laser gets constant use at my job for pointing things out in ceilings or across rooms. The 365nm UV light is surprisingly useful for certain situations. The side floodlight combined with the strong magnetic base makes hands free work very easy. The RGB lights are a nice bonus feature, though I personally do not use them often. Battery life has also been excellent. I use this light frequently throughout the day and usually charge it every other night, but I could likely stretch it to three days if needed. The built in USB C charging is convenient, and the battery indicator on the switch is helpful. Overall, this is an incredible value if you want a compact, lightweight flashlight packed with features. My first one got run over by a forklift, and within minutes I was ordering another. That alone says everything.

The Wurkkos HD01PRO is my favorite multi-purpose EDC flashlight, but you should know
The Wurkkos HD01PRO is my favorite multi-purpose EDC flashlight, but you should know: 1. If it only blinks twice and won't turn on, it's locked; read the directions! 2. If you accidentally leave the laser pointer on it will overheat and burn out; it can't be fixed. So turn it off and lock it before putting it in your pocket or backpack! I've accidentally damaged 2 units this way. I wish the laser turned off when I release the button. The green laser is easily seen indoors, but not bright enough to be seen in sunlit areas, or for astronomy, or long distances. 3. Several functions require very rapid button pushes; if your fingers are cold, old, weak, or injured you may not be able to operate the flashlight. 4. The UV light is the second-best I've ever had; it's strong and great for fluorescent minerals, examining bathrooms, etc. 5. The unit gets very hot when running the brightest light, or the laser pointer. 6. The battery lasts a long time and recharges quickly. The magnet is very strong. 7. It is too big and heavy for dress slacks or tight jeans, but it is a great EDC light if you wear looser jeans or clip it to your belt. It's hard to clip to a ballcap because it's very long and heavy. Watch for discounts; I got one for $35 ($70 list price and a $35 coupon); the other was $49 ($56 list and a $9 coupon). One star off for the overheating laser issue; it should only have a push-to-operate laser or have an auto-shutoff if it gets too hot. Wurkkos replaced one unit for me; it took a few weeks to arrive.

The Swiss Army knife of flashlights!
I love this flashlight. It has almost everything you need in a light in one small package. It has the standard flashlight, but it also has a side floodlight, a laser, and a UV light. It even has a feature where the buttons will breathe a green glow. If that weren’t enough, it has RGB lighting. I’ll admit, the RGB feature was the thing that initially drew my attention to this light, because I love RGB, and seems to be a selling point for it. But for me it lost its cool factor about the third time I turned it on. So, just know, even if you like RGB like I do, it’s not that cool after a little bit. But in a dark room, the cat seemed amused by it. Regardless, this light is great. Which is why I was so confused by the less than complimentary reviews for it. One person said that all it did was flash twice when they pushed the buttons. That’s because the flashlight arrives locked and you must unlock it before using it. Four quick pushes of the button will lock it or unlock it. It even says that in the instructions. There was a complaint about how fast you had to push the buttons. This is a somewhat valid concern. There are several features on this flashlight with only two buttons to operate them all. For that reason, there are times you must either hold down the button or push it one to five times. I’ve turned on the wrong lighting feature many times because I didn’t get the buttons pushed enough times or I pushed them too many and locked the flashlight buttons. That’s something you must get used to. Aside from that, there is a steep learning curve with this light, which I easily had down by day two. Speaking of locking the flashlight buttons. You’ll want to use this feature. Early on, after about three times of the flashlight being clipped in my pants pocket, I found one of the flashlight’s features on without being aware of it. The buttons turn on somewhat easily, so the locking feature is a must. I will also say that I don’t like the fact that it has no way to change the battery. Once the battery is dead, even though the LED lights are good, the flashlight becomes useless, though that may take some years to occur. But overall, I really love this flashlight. I’ve never had a multipurpose flashlight before, and this one seems to be the Swiss Army knife of flashlights. After exploring the options on this thing, it makes a single purpose flashlight seem lame. For me, it’s a keeper – at least as long as the internal battery last.
