Amazing taste and texture, too bad about the fructose.
Taste, texture, quality, are all on point. They are expensive, but they are using quality ingredients. I just wish instead of agave syrup, which causes massive blood sugar spikes, and the raw honey, they'd replace it, or create a version using allulose syrup. Both honey and agave syrup are primarily composed of fructose, which is extremely inflammatory. I absolutely love these, but just eating 1 daily, made me gain water weight, and caused such swelling in my hands and ankles. Fructose is just so bad for us. Don't get me wrong, they all taste great, and all but 2 of the ingredients are on point, texture, is too. This bar could be a great breakthrough bar into a ketogenic or even eventually a carnivore lifestyle. The really are good, but all those carbs, make them a hard NO for me. They could have used allulose, or even monk fruit sweeteners are very good, natural sweeteners, that have no affect on the blood sugar. Allulose has even been proven to be a natural GLP1 inhibitor.

Prima Bars worth the Hype!
These are very dense and filling but not in a bad way. I wouldn't have known they were salted caramel but none the less they were still good tasting. I will reorder probably the variety pack as they are good for after the gym. These do not have some high sugary artificial taste either. They are not the crap you get an that well known retailer either. Not sure what I was expecting but was pleasantly surprised and Prima has a homerun here for sure. This is also not a bar you just chew thru real fast as it is dense but soft to break apart. Great to have a bar that is actually good for your health!

Taste ok. Tallow separates out when it's hot out.
Was ok taste and texture. Not thrilled. But as the temps rose in the summer, the tallow separates out. When I opened one, there was a greasy liquid mess, oozed out all over my hands. One bar was not properly packaged and it oozed out all over my lunch bag and contents. Not recommended.

Healthy and Tasty, but Very Oily
I like these bars, and they are healthy, but they are covered in some sort of oil. It was dripping out of the package when I opened it. I had to put them in the refrigerator to harden the oil so I could peel it off. Is it normal for them to be so oily? Feels kind of gross.

They’re good.
I was hesitant at first because of some other reviews. Pleasantly surprised and they are just as good, if not better, as other similar protein bars. Does it taste like candy? No. But does it taste like a perfectly edible protein bar? Yes. I would say it’s very similar to a quest bar. Mildly oily on the outside and chewy. I love what this company is trying to do and I will be buying again. Great healthy choice for a snack on the go without compromising ingredients.

Mostly good, but some rancid
I have had some good boxes, but then the last one contained bars which looked and tasted different. Most were edible, but there was one I literally spat out because it tasted so RANCID. So mixed results.

No consistency
No consistency! I thought these were the best bars. I loved the ingredients and the flavor. The next batch I ordered were really greasy. Not the same bar at all. I was wiping them off with a paper towel. I ordered them again and they were good. Again and they were almost burnt and tasted like dried fruit. I ordered them again and they are greasy. I can’t eat them when they are dripping in oil they are really gross. There is no consistency in the batches. I think I’m done.

Out of all the bars I’ve tried, the salted caramel is the best, hands down!
I’ve tried every clean protein bar on the market. I’ve made my own protein bars as well, which I tend to do more often because I can control how much Equip Prime Protein I use in the recipe… BUT, when I want to travel and have something easy to throw in my bag, I chose Prima out of all of the others! The salted caramel has an excellent taste and texture. It’s even better when you put it in the fridge. Some people complain that the bars are oily, this is the oils in the product. They are high quality and beneficial to the body, but if you don’t like to, use a paper towel to wipe it down. They do have a little less protein than the Jacob bar, but the taste is better, IMO. I’m on auto-ship now and am so happy to have a cleaner, better quality protein bar around!
