🔎 The camera comes in sturdy branded ox, along with accessories, and printed user manual. 🧡 I got this camera with two batteries, as they usually run out of juice quite quickly. It makes it more convenient when travelling, as I can quickly swap the battery, while charging the other one. After holliday tril to Italy I tested it recording with, and without waterproof case, also bought a metal cage with photo grip, so my young children could take photos, and record videos. It is easy to operate, and performs well. The video quality is very good. Easy to replace the lens filter for CPL or ND. Good quality sound recording even when in waterproof case. A useful flip-up screen. 👎 Quite heavy due to rotating screen. 💲 A good value action camera.

As someone who frequently travels abroad on holidays—both on a surf boards and diving—having a high-quality action camera is essential for capturing my adventures. After a great experience using the Insta Ace Pro 1 on a skiing trip, I decided to upgrade to the Insta Ace Pro 2 for my action cam setup. Successors aren’t always guaranteed to be better, but in this case, Insta has put a lot of effort into refining the Ace Pro 2. The improvements are noticeable and make a real difference in performance. Here’s what stands out the most: Improved Microphone: The newly redesigned mic captures ambient sounds with much better clarity. While the changes may seem subtle, they become evident when playing back footage at higher volumes. Enhanced Low-Light Performance: I often ride in dim lighting conditions, and while the Ace Pro 1 already delivered good footage, the Ace Pro 2 performs exceptionally well in low-light settings, including dusk. This could be due to the built-in AI or upgraded software enhancements. Whatever the reason, I’ve never seen better night-time footage from an action cam. Leica Colour Profiles: The colour profiles are rich, vibrant, and high in contrast, significantly enhancing the quality of recordings. True Wide-Angle Lens: The wide-angle capabilities are outstanding, providing an expansive view that truly lives up to its name. Brilliant action cam, I was thinking I would return it due to not "feeling" it much when arrived but now that I have used it, I have captured some special pics and videos with this. It's clear and a tough too, the lens already has a protector on which can be replaced which is brilliant. I've used it as a dashcam as it captures even number plates at a distance at high speed (60 or 70mph) in the car mode, you can hide number plates too which is great Downsides... app crashes, theres not much filters or editing options for the videos and photos which can be boring, the selfie stick although it is nice because it has a tri pod but it does feel a bit cheap and flimsy, also its not very long either, so the field of view is limited. And another downside is close up focus is terrible on this camera. I recommend this camera as it does tick most of the boxes but be prepared to spend money on extras, and the ace pro 3 should be coming about soon so that one will be worth the wait hoping they iron out the issue with close up focus issue.

Camera has been excellent, I'm still getting to grips with it, but its been excellent from the start. I've found it links so well with the app, its easy to edit and easy to post on media. The support from the Insta 360 team has been brilliant, when a mount came loose and caused an issue with the camera, they stepped up with their support, no problems, no hassle, just showing kindness and understanding. I was blown away by it. Thanks !

Its just perfect, easy to use and so many functions. I love the pure video mode. I have changed all other camera brands and only use the insta360 caneras for moto vlogging now. The battery lasts long and i love the vibration feedback when you press the quick record button with gloves on. You always know what the camera is doing.

It is amazing what you can achieve with these little action cameras. I was a big fan of the Insta360 ONE R/RS range and used a BackBone conversion which allowed me to use vintage lenses to achieve an almost analogue cinematic look. When I bought an Ace Pro, I was blown away by the low-light footage I was getting, and used to soften my footage using a Black Mist filter on the camera and then reworking it in post to soften it even further. When I saw that the Ace Pro 2 could shoot in I-Log, I didn’t hesitate to buy one. Of course there were more upgrades such as adding timecode, additional sensors etc. but this was the upgrade that spoke to me. I do love to colour grade and being able to shoot in this flat profile allows me much more control in post-production than previous profiles. Last week I was shooting in London with my DSLR and had the Ace Pro 2 mounted on the cold shoe on top of my camera. Not only was I able to get some B-Roll of my actual shoot but it also captured some cracking stills, which I took using voice control. Of course, straight out of the box and using auto settings, the results are fantastic but push it a little further and this little camera punches way above its weight – highly, highly recommended!!

I bought the DJI Nano last week really good, but on reflection not being able to change batteries or record directly onto the card not helpful & 1hr record time (camera only). Only had delivery yesterday evening of the Ace Pro 2 can already see the benefits, and free Insta editing software on my Mac now, much better than editing on the phone. I’d definitely recommend the Ace Pro 2, will be using it with my bike rides…

Totaly Better than Gopro fits the description, finding accessories is abit hard

The power and record buttons are a nightmare to operate! I have average size fingers and simply pushing the buttons doesn't work most of the time. I have to use my fingernail to push the very center of the buttons to get them to work. On the upside, you WILL NOT turn this camera on/off or start/stop recording by accident (it's hard enough to do it deliberately). As for the voice command... I often have people looking at me like I'm insane because of the number of times I have to repeat "start recording" before it actually starts to record. The touch screen is nearly worthless. I'm constantly getting the wrong function when trying to tap the (tiny) screen. The battery life is rather pathetic; about 20 minutes. You can buy higher capacity batteries but with the problems I'm having with this thing, it'd be a waste of money. On the upside... The image stabilization is top notch. I have this on my e-bike (as a dash cam) and the roads in my town are just as rough as dirt trails. The videos are steady as a rock. The video quality is great. The chest mount is good. The straps are adjustable as is the camera angle. But these upsides don't overcome the downsides (at least not for me). All in all, if I had known about all if this beforehand, I never would have wasted my money on this thing.
