Some knowledge of networking is helpful if you want to create multiple VLANs to segment your traffic
I moved from the Netgear ecosystem to the TP-LINK Access points and I will say the performance is better, and they are free to mange through a portal that is more than enough for home users. I have 4 of these access points and they provide great coverage, great throughput, and are so easy to set up. I was able to build 5 VLANs for various purposes, one of which is securing my work related PCs and phones to their own private VLAN. The others are for kids, IOT, TVs, and a test VLAN.

Amazing value in professional grade HW and SW
I'm using this as our first Omada device. I'm controlling it locally with a docker instance of their software. They offer something in the cloud, but I don't want that for myself. I'm using a capable but aging RT-AX89X as my router, this is just an AP for me. But what an AP! Yes, the hardware is only dual band, but I'm able to get 2GbE from a wifi 6e client through a wall. With a 2.5Gbe backhaul this is capable of providing screeming throughput. For the money, this thing exceeded my expectations. The software is next level. Im sure ubiquity is better, but this is light years more capable than a traditional router. Of course, more capable means so many more options that most consumers won't need. It's still a great AP option and reasonably prices for that. But the software really gives you control if you want it. It was even able to map my property's impact on the wifi signal.

Nice AP's
Ive got 3 of these and the offer decent coverage. There are a couple models that are more powerful, but these are also the size of a smoke detector. Im really happy with the performance. Mine are connected with an Omada OC220, ER707 and an SG3218XP-M2. Full 2.5gb wired backhaul is the best way to run these to take advantage of their 5ghz speed capabilities. Very cheap since they dont have the 6ghz channel. But honestly, unless you have a bunch of devices to take advantage of the 6ghz frequency, it may not be worth it for you. I didn't feel it was worth the extra cost to step up to a different model just so I could use a 6ghz frequency with 4 cell phones and a few tablets in my house that can actually connect to 6ghz.

Fast and stable
Wifi 7 features like 160mhz channel bandwidth really sped up my network, and the price made this device a really good value. I use three separate aps at my house on the three separate levels, and separating the channels with this device in the middle really solved my roaming and reliability problems. I do recommend turning DOWN the 2.4ghz broadcast (maybe to 9db) so that the 5ghz is selected by your client more often.

Disappointed – No Improvement Over My Existing Router
I purchased the TP-Link Omada EAP723 hoping to improve Wi-Fi coverage in my small 1-bedroom apartment. My existing router is normally placed in the middle of the house, so I assumed that mounting this access point on the ceiling in the center of the apartment would provide better range and stronger signal throughout the home. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. The Wi-Fi speeds were actually worse than my existing router, and the coverage was not noticeably better either. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but I did expect at least some improvement considering this is a dedicated access point. Another disappointment is that despite being marketed as a Wi-Fi 7 access point, it does not support the 6 GHz band. For me, that removes one of the main reasons to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 in the first place. After testing it for a while, I decided to return it. I’ll either upgrade to a true tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router with 6 GHz support or invest in a mesh system instead. Your experience may vary depending on your environment and setup, but for a small apartment, this product did not provide any advantage over my existing router.

Buen equipo AP para enlaces de alta velocidad
Buen punto de acceso se asocia a omoda, lo que no hace sentido es que no traiga su inyector POE como el resto de los productos
