Great Knife for money
Ok I bought this knife on impulse, I watched YouTube reviews Amazon reviews looses into company. I own a alot of pocket knives… I working in Newark NJ doing EMS and I used the hell out of them abused(not reckless) them in all kinds of conditions. I’ve owned striders zero tolerance Emerson’s spyderco, you name it. But they were expensive and I was alway worried about losing them. This knife is deceiving lite(it’s lite compared to others in range). I love the blade design on this and it works awesome (50/50 serrated would be great) it sits deep in pocket and is secure. There are some reviews here on Amazon that give it 1-2s ignore them. The one show damage to knife but if you have owned and used knife for work you can see signs in his pics that he was doing foolish things with it. Then there are knife snobs and bashers. This is NOT a Emerson. Strider. Zero tolerance. This is a everyday work knife. It is not a safe queen. It’s ment to be used and god forbid you lose it or misuse it in situation you are not out hundreds of dollars for the money. Hands down this knife is a GREAT knife for guy/gal. Who need good quality knife that doesn’t break bank Pros: great clip and holds knife deeper, heavier blade to withstand heavy use, $$$$, handles comfortable, thumb rest awesome , ease of opening after short wear in time.blade design looks awesome, Cons: locking bar could be beefed up a little and please add texture to top for thumb to grab when closing. Not best steel but for $$ I’ll live with it, not con but it’s a larger knife. Fit my hand but might not fit someone else with small hands Conclusion: if looking for good working knife that is strong and easy to open and ease to sharpen. This blade rocks. Do your research. I alway look at bad reviews and filter out ones that are just there to bash something vs ones that actually show problems. Weigh the reviews look at other sites and ask questions and always not every product is perfect. Sometimes faults sneaks thru checkers. No one is perfect Update: Have had this now and used it. It’s breaking in nicely flicker working great. Getting use to locking mechanism very comfy in pocket. So far holding edge. Loving TI coating

Does not disappoint.
It’s certainly not easy buying knives on-line. I’ve purchased quite a few that way only to be kinda disappointed with them after they arrived. So many are smaller than they look or just kinda feel flimsy in the hand. But, this knife did not disappoint. And believe me - it is a handful of knife. It seems very well constructed from quality materials and the blade is a razor sharp D2 steel. I really like the spring assist action and the non-slip scale texture on the sides. Bottom line - if your looking for a reasonably priced, man sized EDC that’s built to last - you might want to give this one a try.

Off Grid Rapid Fire D2
As a serious knife enthusiast I really like this knife. Not willing to pay the money Zero Tolerance wants so this option is nice. Have not used long enough to know if the blade will stand up to use, not abuse, the way a good blade should and some of my other D2 blades have. Pros: The scales on the handles and the way they are scalloped make for a good grip yet comfortable without the bite you might expect. The size of the handle is nice in the hand for someone who may not have large hands yet beefy enough for those that do. Some may find it a little heavy but to me it is just right for the size. Pocket clip feels like a stronger metal that will not bend out of shape with regular use in and out of a pocket. The contour of the blade design with the belly on it makes good for cutting without having to have a serrated edge if like me you prefer straight blades. Cons: There are only a few nit picks I have about this knife. The biggest is there is no thumb stud. Yes it has the flipper tab on the back but decades of opening knives with a thumb stud it is just natural at this point and do not have to change grip to open like with the flipper tab. The balance is just a little off. It should balance on the index finger where the handle is contoured to hold it but it is back a little making it more back end heavy. The frame lock is smooth on the top and low profile. With that it makes it less than comfortable to try to close. All in all I think it is a very good knife able to compete with the more expensive brands. The cons I have listed are my personal opinions and preferences so others may not agree. Would recommend if you are like me and want quality and price over name.

Price/Performance Excellent choice!
Gonna keep this somewhat short. I have been collecting premium knives for 8+ years. ZT, Muela, Benchmade, Kershaw, Fantoni etc... Stumbled onto Off-Grid Knives, got curious and picked up a Rapid Fire Blackout. Impressive, for the money you can't go wrong. Fit, Finish, Feel, Balance and construction are great. Like the idea of the Cryo Treatment of the AUS 8 series steel. I'd put it somewhere in the 14C28n+ category. I know originally they called it the Poor Mans Zero Tolerance (ZT). That works. At the same time, it is Not a ZT for sure. But, I like the sound of it though. And, I believe there is truth to that. On a budget for a quality knife I'd suggest Off-Grid Knives. I like-em. Picked up 2 more recently. Rapid Fire Micarta and R.F M. Satin Finish. I'm not collecting them. But a nice twist/answer to the Brand Names. Anyway I like them and would say check-em out! Couple weeks later.. Felt like adding Sturdy with Great Feel, Looks as well. Trow in Tough Also! And RAPID deployment of the blade! With Excellent lock-up. These are growing on me. Stay True Off Grid Knives. You're on your way up. And I believe possibly becoming part of, The Knife Collecting World! I'll pick up a few more. I'm In!!! 5 Stars for what they are. And the idea behind them!!!

Very high quality product!
I am very pleased with the quality of this knife. It has a very comfortable, sturdy handle with well crafted locking mechanism. With the spring assisted opening device, when it clicks you know its open and don't have to worry about it collapsing causing injury. The opposite is the same. When closed it is secured and you don't have to worry about it flipping open by itself. It is a larger knife, which I love about it, but it is a little large for me to consider it a pocket knife, or at least too big for me to carry it in my pocket everyday. That being said, it is not too big to wear on your belt, which I do everyday. Probably the thing I am most impressed with is the blade quality and hardness. It arrived sharp. Which is to say as sharp or sharper than a quality knife, but that's not sharp enough for me. After I sharpened it on my wet stones I was able to get it razor sharp, Literally! I shaved with it to test it out. The quality of the steel really shows through by the fact that it is holding its edge and sharpness very well. I am not easily impressed, but I am with this knife!

Wow. Really nice. Perfect.
I did not expect it to be this nice. Wow. First off it's dead nutz centered when closed. Honeycomb pattern on the G10 is nice. Not aggressively grippy. Which is good. Won't shred your pockets. It's deep carry. And the clip has a very nice lip which will fit over almost all pockets. Clip screws are counter sunk. Jimping on the G10 and the liner...top notch. Good stuff. The blade is really really nice. I got the coyote tan Honeycomb handle and the grey blade by the way. Blade is gorgeous. Edge grind is even on both sides. Tip is even. Nice belly. The grey coating is nice. I think its titanium something... Steel is good. Cryogenically treated D2. Assisted opening is good. Not the fastest opener....but fast enough. For a blade this size it opens well. Solid lock up, no wiggle. Nice knife overall and worth the money easily. This is compared to my 100+/- folders from Spyderco, Benchmade, Civivi, Kizer, CJRB, Krudo, CRKT, others. This is my 4th OFF GRID and they are all the same quality wise. Which is excellent. Good stuff. Enjoy!! Also of note is that the G10 has some light play to it. Moving it left/right/up/down in different light conditions makes the Honeycomb pattern do weird stuff. I first noticed this while looking at it with a headlamp on. Pretty cool. If you are on the fence...just buy it. You will be psyched.
