Capri Tools 20105 12" Mini Hacksaw

I needed to make a repair my toilet, but the bolts & nuts rusted. I was unable to remove 1 bolt so bought the mini hacksaw. I was able to cut the bolt in the small space between the toilet tank & the base. It was the right size to fit in such a tight space. I was excited it helped me do the job, so I could finish the toilet repair.

I ordered this specifically with a project in mind. My toilet seat needed to be replaced and the hinge actually doubled as the bolt into it. All metal parts including the nut and bolt. I was able to make quick work of it and the blade held up. Highly recommended

I ordered this saw because I was trying to replace my toilet seat and there was a rusted bolt securing the lid in place. Watched so many YouTube videos on how to fix the issue and none of the solutions worked. Finally, I saw a video and the guy was having the same issue as me and he had just abut given up and this was a spontaneous idea he had. It worked for him so I hoping it would work for me too. I have Prime so I ordered and it was delivered the next day and after sawing for less than 5 minutes the rusted bolt came off; the problem I was trying to solve for 3 days was solved so quickly and easily. So mad at myself for never even thinking to use a saw. Thank to the makers of this saw for making my day!

I do lots of crafts and live in an appartment, so while I know a true hack saw would be best for my needs, I decided to give this a try. It worked just fine for sawing through my 1.25 inch wooden dowel. I know the blade it comes with is intended for cutting metal pipes, so I only pulled the blade in one direction and reset it at the top again so as not to ruin my blade. But it worked great and I'm glad I have this tool added to my toolbox.

Needed to saw off a stuck bolt, was able to do so in about 15 minutes. Adjustable length blade let me find the best angle to saw quickly

Convenient for very tight spaces. I carry this thing in my toolbox wherever I go. Need to pack it smaller? Slip the blade out and fit this thing anywhere. Use your current stock of blades with this.

I buy a lot of Capri tools, I thought buying the mini hacksaw would be a good tool, I was wrong very flimsy.

The arch(?) is small as expected from the photo, so it's best for sawing not too deep in. I needed a small one to store, so knowingly ordered it. The blade adjustment is a bit annoying as it gets stuck and needs to be wriggled a lot. However, it's doable, and no regret on purchase.
