I brought this ladder as I needed a taller ladder which I felt comfortable climbing as a person living alone. This exceeded my expectations. It is lighter than my runged ladder of a similar height, easy to climb and very steady. The only minor inconvenience is that you do have to manually unscrew the tray every time you want to collapse it. I also purchased this one as the top step is longer than other similar models, which made it easier to stand and move around when on the top.

This is outstanding ladder very sturdy nice having the top part that flips up that you can use to hold a can of paint and it does help stabilize you as you go up tall on the ladder. You know it’s dirty because it’s pretty heavy compared to another one that we got that actually vent I’m a pretty big guy. But it definitely holds up to 300 and more pounds with no problem.

Kind of a pain in the ass to open but other than that a nice ladder for the money. Sturdy, lightweight and just the right size for around the house chores and camping trips.

It feels sturdy. It is an excellent height and the supports for the top tray make it feel very secure. I wish the steps themselves locked but it still feels safe to be on

The top support bar & shelf is great when you need to use the top step! Well made.

There are two brackets with thumbscrews that attach to the top shelf to support it. These brackets don't appear in the photos or descriptions of the ladder. The shelf swings around and seems to lock in place, but if I ever put anything heavy like paint on that shelf, I'll make sure to screw the brackets in place. The fact that they aren't mentioned anywhere in the details of the ladder is a problem. The ladder requires additional setup before the shelf is stable, and there is additional work involved in loosening the thumbscrews and disconnecting these brackets before the ladder can be folded flat. I was disappointed, since I was looking for an interior ladder that was simple to open and to fold. It works, and I can reach the top of all my cabinets to clean them. It seems to be sturdy, but you have to know that there's additional assembly/ disassembly required whenever you open/close the ladder to be sure the shelf is strong enough to use. (Pain in the butt)
