J's.o.l.e Ankle Cowboy Boots for Men Square Toe Chelsea

My husband was in need of boots for several events this summer and loves these! They are wonderful quality and fit true to size. He’s worn them for several hours at a time and has commented on how comfortable they are. It’s nice that they look like standard mid calf boots while only going to the ankle. When you’re wearing jeans you can’t tell at all and I imagine this style is far more comfortable for extended wear. The photo shown does quite do the boots justice since the venue was dusty and therefore the boots weren’t in their full glory….although I still think that they look very nice!

I purchased these “J's.o.l.e Cowboy Boots for Men Western Square Toe Ankle Chelsea Boots” because I was looking for a new style. I am giving these boots 5 stars even though I sent them back. These boots were easy to pull on and pull off compared to a full-length boot. The weight is lighter making it easier on your legs with the square toe keeps your toes from being squeezed together! This is a very good boot! These boots were extremely nice and were very good.

Insoles are not good. On the other hand the boot is really nice I like to wear them for work as a easy on and off boot.

This boot gives the illusion of the full cowboy boot, without the extra material! The boot itself is very sturdy and well made.

The quality is definitely below average. It is good enough to get the job done but can tell manufacturing wise (glue and sewing) that it won’t last long, especially as a working/walking boot. I would just save your money and buy real leather boots elsewhere (ariat for example).

High quality boots! I have drop foot and they were still very easy to slip on. And they fit great too!

I purchased these boots to attend the Calgary Stampede (for two days of use). They do the trick, but I would not recommend these boots for more frequent wear unless your feet are slightly smaller than the sizes on the size chart shown on the product listing. The size chart is nearly accurate - I typically wear a 9 mens-size, but based on the product sizing chart I ordered an 8. The boots fit, however the boots did rub noticeably on the sides of my feet. This was surprising given the square toe-box area. I was able to mitigate this by putting bandages on my toes, however after two full days of wear, I still would not describe these boots as comfortable. If these came in half sizes, then a half-size up would have been perfect, but unfortunately that is not an option with these boots. The appearance and material of the boots are excellent. The boots feel like leather, and even have a very slight new leather smell. The stitching looks excellent, and I did receive compliments on the boots as well. The soles are sturdy and the boots do provide a good amount of support. I found the insole to be decently cushioned although after 8 hours of wear the bottoms of my feet did start to get sore. Overall, I'd say if you need these boots for only a couple days per year, or if your foot size is a half-size, then these boots could be a good option. If you plan to wear these boots more frequently and you typically wear an non half-size (eg. size 7,8,9), then just know that these might not be the most comfortable.

I was really disappointed. The boots feel great. Super soft. Then I went to put them in for the first time and before I even had my heel in the finger tab ripped out. The stitching is right on the end of the loop so I’m not surprised it tore right off. Shame because the boots looked great UPDATE: Great communications from the vendor, made things right and took the opportunity to address the issue with the pull tab. Would definitely deal with this seller again.
