This product is excellent and provides very quick and accurate results. You just need to follow the instructions as per the manual and the test results will come quite accurate.The box includes:1. For Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate, you need to wait for 5 minutes. In a well cycled tank - Ammonia and Nitrite must be 0ppm(VERYImportant) and Nitrate also within acceptable limits.This is a must for any aquarium and specially useful for any new tank setups where you need to monitor the water conditions regularly during the cycling process.Based on the results, you can take decision for water changes. It's nice but expensive tool to establish your tank parameters. Which is sometimes confusing as decoding is based on visual color matching which turns out to be extremely confusing and tricky when you get different colours which are not in the reference color table...this forces you to do guesswork... So far for me its approximately 65% clear report and 35% guess report...shall use this till we get better kit than this... Note: I mostly use API products for my aquariums. Thanks

I brought this product for my aquarium water test....my family was using bore water as drinking water using RO filter but reality the bore water nitrate is 160ppm + ....even after RO filtering Nitrate level is 120ppm its dangerous for human health....Good product for fish cycling...Its better to check our drinking waters 💧 before consuming them blindly this product helped me to fix our water issue in our home

The product is as described and it was accurate enough for me. Although you need to go through the manual and learn how to use it. I didn't give my water sample to any lab for testing , i relied on the test kit . My fish have been doing well so far , and that means the readings are almost accurate . If it was not accurate , from my calculations , some should have died by now. And this API test kit is being used by people outside of India as well . I came to know about this via a youtuber from Australia .

Genuine Product! If you gonna cycle your tank its must have kit.Comes handy if you want to check ammonia /nitrite/nitrate in your tank.BUT HELLA PRICEY...Its just 20$ [ rs 1300] in USA but here the selling price is Double.Ya i know the import duty bla bla... BUT still i'll say its way too pricey.It should be around Rs 1500.I brought it coz i need it and i dont have any other choice. DAMMIT! so 4 star

Good Quality master kit

I moved away from test strips and bought the API 800 Test Freshwater Master Kit. One of the best decisions I have made for my aquarium.Test strips may look convenient but once the container is opened and the strips are exposed to air the clock is ticking. Moisture and oxygen start degrading the reagents immediately. After about 30 days the accuracy drops off badly. At that point the readings are questionable and you may as well consider them unreliable. For something as important as water quality, that simply is not good enough.The API Freshwater Master Kit solves that problem completely. The reagents are stored in sealed bottles so they remain stable and accurate for a long time.Using it is straightforward. Fill the test tube with tank water to the line, add the correct number of drops from the bottle, cap the tube and shake. For nitrate there is a second bottle and a longer shake but it is still very simple. Wait the specified time, then compare the colour against the chart. That is it.What you get in return is far more reliable information. The colour changes are clearer and the scale is more precise than strips. You can properly track ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH rather than relying on vague strip colours that can be difficult to read.Each kit also lasts a very long time because you get a large number of tests from the bottles. It ends up being far better value than constantly replacing strips that degrade quickly.If you want accurate, repeatable readings and a clear picture of what is happening in your tank water, this kit is excellent. Simple to use, dependable and well worth the money. Highly recommended for any serious fish keeper. 🐟

So easy to use , very accurate , the test strips said everything was fine but this master test kit told the truth it wasn’t fine and it helped me fix my water so my fish stopped dying , would definitely recommend for everyone keeping fish !! Definitely worth the money it’s actually not much when you think of it this stuff will last forever , I think it said 800 tests ,you only uses so many drops per test and you only need to test once a week unless you have a problem your trying to fix ..

Easy to understand the instructions. Comes in a portable case which is a perfect caddy to go from one aquarium to the next. No scent that I detected. The case is durable and has an easy storage system that holds each vile. The colors are easy to get a reading to match against and each bottle has a different color for color coded instructions. The helped me adjust my water parameters to better suit my tropical fish. Very effective.
