Excellent TV – Great Picture and Easy Setup
I am very happy with this TV. The picture quality is sharp, bright, and vibrant, making movies, sports, and streaming shows look fantastic. The sound quality is also better than expected for a TV in this price range. Setup was quick and easy, and connecting to Wi-Fi and streaming apps took only a few minutes. The remote is simple to use, and the smart TV features work smoothly. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality television.

Greatest Value Incredible Quality
I was getting by with a decade old Panasonic plasma TV, and in addition to noticing degradation with the screen image, I was astounded with how much heat it produced making it highly energy inefficient. I’ve always been a consumer of the higher-end brands because I feel like you “get what you pay for“ and based on my room and requirements I was ready to move forward with a high-end Sony Bravia. As they moved closer to the purchase, I noticed an inordinate number of negative reviews. This caused me to start again with my research and Hisense kept popping up. I recalled renting an Airbnb earlier in the year that had a high since flatscreen installed, and I was amazed by the picture clarity. I switched gears completely, and began looking at data from the Hisence mini LED and was amazed at the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The price was literally half of the set that I was looking at and I figured with purchasing through Amazon I would give it a try. To say I was impressed would be a gross understatement. The set is amazing. The picture quality is excellent. The remote is fantastic. Every part of it feels super high-end, except the price! My one and only complaint would have been the sound quality coming out of the built-in speakers. In the past, I have used $1000 plus Sonos units, but they tend to be glitchy. Upon further review, I found that Hi sense makes their own dedicated sound bar that comes with a subwoofer for a fraction of the price of anything else on the market. The set up an installation on both was beyond simple. The sound quality is excellent, and the consistency of operation is five star all the way.

Hisense is great after all.
Two weeks with this monster, and believe me, this 75" TV packs a wallop for its price. Just as good as an OLED, the picture is so clear and vibrant, the sound is 4.1.2 Ch Audio, but it's even better connected to a Dolby Atmos/DTS-X theater system. Overall, I never thought Hisense would be a match to my Sony 77" OLED (don't get me wrong, this is the best TV I've ever owned), and now I have the best of both worlds. I was amazed after seeing a 136" Hisense Micro- LED TV at Best Buy and the 100" at Costco. They blew my socks off, just as the Hisense 75" Mini-LED Google TV I just bought. AWESOME.

Unreliable Hisense Google TV – Constant Factory Resets Required
If I could give this a BIG FAT 0 I WOULD. I purchased this Hisense Google TV in November 2025 and it has been nothing but frustrating. The first time I had an issue with this TV was in April , 5 months after purchase, it got stuck, I couldn't watch anything. Contacted their customer service and I was informed they would send out a technician, I said OK but was travelling in a few days and wanted to make sure they could come before I left. They were not helpful saying tthey didn't know how long it would take. They assigned a case number and they never called before I left on vacation. I did an AI search and fixed the problem by disconnecting the TV so it could reset itself. Really? My TV is not mounted on the wall so I had to pull out my entire entertainment center to unplug it from the wall . Every time I go on vacation for a few weeks and turn it back on, it refuses to work normally. I have to perform a full factory reset just to watch TV — exactly like I had to do this time after a one-month trip. This is not the first time. The TV repeatedly gets stuck, asks for Google passwords it won't accept, and becomes unusable without resetting everything. Hisense support told me it's a "Google software issue" and they aren't responsible unless it's a mechanical hardware problem. That’s ridiculous — I bought a Hisense TV, not separate software. At only 7 months old and still under warranty, this TV should work reliably like every other smart TV in my home. Very disappointed in the poor quality and lack of manufacturer support. I would not recommend this TV to anyone.

Best TV on the market!
If you’re looking to upgrade your home setup, the Hisense 75" Class U8 Mini-LED ULED 4K UHD Google Smart TV (75U8QG, 2025 Model) absolutely delivers. The picture quality is next-level, colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and everything just feels incredibly sharp whether you’re watching sports, movies, or streaming shows with the family. What really surprised us is the sound. The built-in 4.1.2 channel audio with Dolby Atmos creates a full, immersive experience without needing to immediately invest in a soundbar. It fills the room in a way most TVs just don’t. With features like Mini-LED backlighting, QLED color, a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate (perfect for gaming), and support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, this TV checks every box. It’s fast, responsive, and the Google TV interface makes it easy for everyone in the house to jump into their favorite content. We genuinely love this TV, it’s become the centerpiece of our home and makes everything we watch feel like an experience.

Love this TV, BUT
This TV exceeded my expectations for quality of picture AND sound. Picture is extremely bright, and the sound is the best I've heard from a TV (even so, I installed a good sound bar). I have turned down the brightness twice, as even in a bright room, it pops. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars, is that I can't turn it on with the remote. It worked for a few days, then I spent hours on the phone with their AI "person" trying various fixes, including new batteries, taking out the batteries and reinstalling them, and finally resetting the TV (had to put back all my settings). This worked for a few times, and then the same thing. I finally stumbled on a fix: if I hold down the on button and say Turn on TV, it goes on !! Anyway the TV is wonderful, with a great picture and sound, and it has loads of smart functions and built in apps. Highly recommend, but watch out for the remote on function.

Love it. Excellent picture. Powerful sound. Bright as the sun. And I like the software.

Great Bang for the Buck
This TV arrived quickly via UPS in good condition. It’s boxer in the rear for the sound system speakers and looks the same in the front with the Hisense logo centered at the bottom this time around. The inputs are recessed from the outer edge, making it difficult to get to them after wall mounting. However, none are facing back this time around. All are facing toward the outer edge. Out of the box, there was the typical Google TV setup followed by one system update (P0205 to P0415) and 2 remote updates. There are only 3 HDMI inputs this time around, but they are ALL 4K/165Hz though. It seems to be running Android 14 (from 12) with a much later build and security patch level. Google TV seems to be about the same or slightly snapper than the U8N. Storage still 20GB (minus system use, formatting, etc.) Within all the TV menus, there are additional settings added, some moved and others re-arranged compared to the U8N. One I like is a speed test within the Network & Internet settings for example. There is a Quick Tab Tools option on the bottom menu that I think is new, etc. With this TV, I’m just connecting gaming consoles via HDMI (Xbox, PlayStation & Switch 2 one day) and an HDTV antenna for one local channel for storm updates. I’m NOT using WIFI, eARC, PC connection, Fire TV Cube, Apple TV, etc. I hope to try the USB-C input on the side at some point as a display input. First impressions of image quality: little to no vignetting in the corners (way less than the U8N); less Blooming thanks to the additional zones and tech; SDR and all HDR looked great to me with little to no setting changes. Gradients look fine for an 8-Bit FRC display. Motion smoothing is great, but I still personally prefer it off. Motion overall seems on par with the U8N: again, with no setting changes. As such, I must note that there are more image settings (especially Intelligent and AI) than the U8N. Console gaming wise, everything is great in every mode (all Xbox and PlayStation resolutions, refresh rates, etc. are fully supported). I still really like the Game Bar just like U8N. This time around there are themes that can be set to automatically change for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. The 4.1.2 sound is OK. I don’t use soundbars, but I think anyone who does will continue to do so with the TV – or use a surround sound system. I’m still experimenting with the sound settings. I do use the room acoustics setting like on the U8N by using the remote’s mic. More sound options than the U8N and certainly a different sound right out of the box.
