MORryde XF12-001 X-Factor Crossmember for SRE, CRE, Stock, Other Equalizers

This crossmember comes highly recommended for preventing frame breakage where the spring hangers connect to the travel trailer frame. The welds for the spring hangers are known to break and rip away from the frame. This crossmember reduces the flex that causes the failures. Installation was very easy. I installed them along with the CRE3000 and shackle upgrades, so it was just part of the process. They are a bit pricey, but provide a support that is needed. I added just one to the middle spring hanger. But, should have installed three, one for each spring hanger.

Excellent product. The bag for all the nuts and bolts was very flimsy and broke during transit. All were accounted for so 5 stars was still intact!

I installed these as preventive action because a lot of trailer/fifth wheel have problems on the road with their axle coming apart. This is a great aftermarket product that reinforce your axle and prevent these from swaying

I've seen failed trailer suspension hangers. Welded stiffening is very challenging to find a reliable welder to do them right and affordably. These MORryde crossmembers are worth every penny as a dependable solution to weak suspension hangers on Lippert trailer frames. The crossmember structural steel is twice as thick as Lippert suspension hanger steel. Easy to install. Just takes a socket wrench. Make sure to torque all down nuts as prescribed. I would not own a travel trailer unless it has these crossmembers on all hangers.

Got a chance to install this thing and it is very sturdy. I can’t tell how it will affect the body flex when driving down the road but have to trust the engineer on this. The universal design made it easy to install.
