Why does a brand new iPhone 14 need extra battery life? Does the iPhone battery suck that badly??

I had this case for my previous iPhone and for my current new 14 Pro Max. I do a lot of hiking and bike riding and use my phone for GPS mapping and route tracking which uses the battery up fairly quickly. The additional power that this battery pack can supply is well worth the $50 for peace of mind that you will, most likely, not drain both phone your battery & the battery cases power down to zilch thereby rendering your maps and your potential to call for help unavailable.

Will this stop charging the phone at 100% when plugged in? Also when charging the phone with the case will it automatically turn case off at 100%?

Hi, sorry this took a bit. Yes, the phone will stop charging once full. The battery case will also stop charging once full. If you leave the phone in the case and leave the case plugged in, it will keep everything topped off with a slow trickle charge. So far, no complaints with battery life. Hope that helps.

Mine came with a small instruction sheet in the box. I'm sure you can go to the company's website and download a pdf of the manual.

What's the mah for this battery case? Why doesn't it mention if it can fully recharge iphone 14 pro max?

I don’t know what “mah”. It will fully charge the 14 pro max but to do so it fully discharged the case. I don’t call or text a lot but have books on tape or podcasts on most of the time and if I fully charge over night I get through the day.
