Everything I need at work nothing I don’t. Basic but brawny.
So I first saw this on YouTube from max level EDC and I knew pretty much right away I was going to get one of these. At my job in a ribbon factory, there are quite a few times where I need a wrench, believe it or not, mostly to remove guards during cleanup operations, or to adjust the nip pressure rollers. Now I also need a knife sometimes to open packages or cut plastic off of pallets or just other everyday tasks that you would require a general-purpose knife for, and it’s nice to also have a bit driver for when I have to remove other screws or more often tighten things in order to ensure the machine runs properly. The holster that this comes with is absolute trash, but I’ve had my leather EDC waste pouch that used to hold my Leatherman that I have since replaced with this wonderful tool. The pouch that I have is open-topped so it just slides right in there. It does sit a little higher off the top of my waist, but not enough that it impedes me from carrying it. I don’t really need a small pair of scissors on this tool as my main tool I use every day is a pair of scissors, full-size, used for cutting ribbon. That also sits in the little pouch, and then I also have my flashlight. I found myself using this pretty much every day. The wrench part itself works very well. The screw mechanism works flawlessly. It has not gotten hung up; the wrench itself stays in the position I put it in quite well. I haven’t really encountered any slippage. The ratcheting feature, honestly I haven’t used it as I would pretty much need to use it on a much larger bolt to really get any kind of leverage out of it. But it’s a nice little feature to have if you need it. The only tool I don’t use Often is the file, simply because I don’t really have a use for it, but it’s nice to have it there in case. The fold-out needle nose pliers are awesome. We frequently have times where Ribbon wraps up, and it’s nice to have the needle nose to be able to grab a hold of it in order to leverage it either to pull it out or just to give you enough space to where you can cut it. Also, it’s still nice to have the needle nose for smaller, detailed work such as fixing our ancient sewing machines. The fact that I can fold all that up into one tool that is also very comfortable to handle is quite nice. The spring-loaded nature of the pliers is take it or leave it for me. I’ve had a multitool with both. It is nice to have, but it’s not a necessity. I think the cost of this is very reasonable. I mean, you basically get a bit driver with bits to a set of pliers, a wrench, a knife, all wrapped in one convenient, easy-to-use package. Now, I would not say that this is going to replace dedicated tools for hard-use tasks, but just for everyday general repair work or mechanical work, this is an absolutely fantastic tool. Now, the blade steel is nothing to write home about. It’s 8 CR, but for just normal everyday things like I said, cutting packages open or cutting plastic, It works just fine, and it’s going to be very easy to sharpen back. But 8CR is also very tough, so I don’t think anyone would have any major problems. I carry a folding pocket knife, anyways If I require something a bit more aggressive, but even using the knife, using any of the tools really feels wonderful. In fact they really did an excellent job on making this version very comfortable and user-friendly, so I will probably buy more of these since they seem to sell like hotcakes on here.

A great addition for the Multi-tool afficionado.
*Update* April 2026 - I’ve had this tool about 10 mos. Not a pro but have been using it weekly for home projects and repairs. It’s been bounced around a tool bag, inadvertently dropped and kicked, etc. The usual rigors that hand tools can be subjected to. It is just as good as day one. I feel the household name multitool company (letter L) seems to be mostly offering ever more expensive iterations of existing designs and special colors. Big Yawn, and no interest in buying a $200 dollar plus multitool. That’s way more than a working person wants to spend. I believe the Chinese makers like Nextool are taking chances and innovating. They may soon catch up and overtake the original innovator. I don’t have a strong position on this topic, but want a good tool at a good price. This checks a lot of boxes for me and updating to 5 stars. Very useful tool and overall has a tight and solid feel. I am not a professional, but this is a great addition to my kit and goes in the center of my truck console when I travel. A tad heavy for EDC on your person. Knowing I have this small adj wrench with me in addition to a conventional multitool and locking knife is a little extra security traveling, camping, fishing should I have any minor repair to attempt. I've been getting more impressed with other makers of multitools besides the 'household name' company. I find that Nextool and others are taking more chances and trying to do more innovative stuff. One might not additionally see the bit driver or storage when first picking this up. I find this tool makes really ingenious use of its space. Additionally, the liner lock blade locks up tight and secure. Long term we will see how this holds up. The plastic shrouds on the outside of the tool add some grip. Could see them taking a beating but they seem like quality abs. It has a lot of parts and places where dirt could potentially trap, so recommend carrying in its sheath. Overall, I like this a lot. For my needs, I don't think the racheting mechanism on the wrench was a real necessity and probably would've appreciated a ratchet more on the bit driver. But it does give some more purchase in tight spots. I did initially have a concern with the pliers, and the Nextool team reached out to me and rectified the issue lightning quick. I must applaud their customer service for responsiveness and support. I will definitely consider more products from Nextool.

Good tool
Update: Nextool reached out to me and replaced the entire tool for free. It took a little while to get into contact but once they did they did great and got my particular issue resolved quickly. This thing worked great until it didn't. The jaw for the crescent wrench broke off loosening a bolt. I tried reaching out twice to the manufacturer to no response. The tool itself is nice and useful. The customer service not so much so I have to resort to leaving feedback on Amazon.

A very ingenious new multitool
This new multitool is perhaps one of the best products this year. The engineers who designed the ratchet wrench are very clever. This wrench works well and is very sturdy. It only has 10 other tools, but they are the ones you use the most. Overall the tool is extremely well built, strong and looks very nice. The functionality of all the tools works really well. I also like the fact that the bit holder is magnetic and retains bits nicely. I bought a galvanox set of 41 bits that comes in an extremely small and thin holder and was able to attach it to the back of the nextool pouch with my own little pouch. The bits are the half flat double ended bits the leatherman multitools use. They work surprisingly well in a normal 1/4" hex bit holder, especially since it is magnetic. I now have a single screwdriver with 41 different bits. I also added a small holder in the front of the nextool pouch for a fold up pair of scissors that is extremely small when folded but unfolds into a strong mid-size pair of scissors. This was the only tool I wanted that was missing from the nextool multitool. So now I have a single pouch that contains everything that fits within a 6.125" x 1.75" x 1.75" volume. It includes a pair of needle nose pliers, regular pliers and wire cutter, as well as a knife, saw, and 2 sided file. Also, it has the wrench and ratcheting wrench with a magnetic bit holder, plus 41 different bits. Then I added the scissors. I don't really need much else. I put this in my small tool box that also includes an electricians multitool, heavy duty pair of cutters, tape measure, a fold up mid-size saw, a mid-size hammer, large files, large channel lock pliers when I need 2 pliers at one time and as always a couple of rolls of different duct tape. Everything I just mentioned above cost under $200 and works just fine for me. Throw in a nice rechargeable drill with drill bit kit, screw/nut kits and I'm good to go.

Unique design, so so execution
Clever multitool incorporating ratcheting wrench, sheep foot blade, diamond/regular file, saw spring-loaded pliers and hex bit driver. Also includes one double-ended 1/4" hex shank bit, stored in the handle. The Good: The pliers are exceptional. I think they're forged. They have no wobble, are precise and beautifully finished. The bit driver is a simple hex hole at the end of the fold out handle, but it holds the double-ended bit securely via a strong magnet. It also accepts regular hex bits and flat Leatherman bits, all securely held. The outside opening blade locks securely and operates smoothly. The saw and the file are fingernail opening. The saw is locking but the file is not. The spring-load pliers operate smoothly with no wobble. I believe that they are forged.. The Not So Good: The ratcheting wrench does work, but I had to file smooth the pop-up locking pin because it was causing the ratcheting mechanism to stick. See the photo showing the use of a #3-316 contact cleaning tool. Once I did this correction, the ratchet wrench worked well. This ratcheting wrench opens to just over 27-mm and is the reason I'm keeping this unique tool. This multitool gets only 3-stars because of the poor quality control, the dinky plastic bit storage and the non-forged steel wrench. Nextool could have done better justice to a truly innovative design. Bottom line: It is well enough made and has very useful features, so it's a keeper for me.

Great all-in-one tool!
I love this tool! I used to carry several tools in my pocket to access my Analyzers until I found this all in one tool. I especially love the Crescent wrench! The build quality is great! I just ordered one for my apprentice!

Great mid-range multitool with unique features at a very good price
I love multi tools, especially tools that have unique functionality that isn’t something you would commonly think of having in a tool, but once you see it, you’re happy they thought of it! This tool fits that description! Most multi tools don’t have a crescent wrench, but it is not just a novelty, it is a versatile, functioning wrench! I have many multi tools, from the more expensive name brands, to the lower end, unnamed brands. This tool, fits in the bill of a good mid-range tool. And, although the price is at the lower end of the pricing scale, the form and functionality are at a higher grade than you would expect for something in this price range. In addition to having a crescent wrench, it also has a pair of pliers, like so many other multi tools have. This would make a great small birthday or Christmas gift to anyone who likes Every-Day Carry (EDC) tools and accessories. It has many standard items that most multi tools have, so if you’re looking for something unique and functional, this is fantastic for a first-time multi tool user or for EDC enthusiasts or multi tool lovers. The build quality seems better than I would expect for products in this price range, which is a great thing. My two challenges with this product is, A). The crescent wrench is larger than a standard multi tool to carry. Not a show stopper by any means, but larger, so be aware. and, B). The case is low quality and very basic. Again, not a show stopper, but having a robust case would be a great V2 of this product.
