Px7 S3 Wireless Headphones - Anthracite Black

I've been looking for a pair of headphones that do it all for me, that I can buy for a decent price and keep for years to come not needing to swap out to anything else, and these definitely seem the one. B&W have always been sensational when it comes to sound quality, having utilised their speakers in the past, but when it comes to music I enjoy headphones, and although wired will always be superior sound quality, there really isn't much in it when it comes to Bluetooth Vs Wired in these headphones. Sound quality these are exceptional - perfect bass, sensational treble and mid-tones, highs are also not too overwhelming as well. Bluetooth is easy to connect as well with their app, with a built in EQ (which I did utilise) - I found they were fractionally too quiet for me, although tuning the EQ on the app made it perfect, and due to the in-built amp in the headphones, the EQ increase didn't result in any loss of quality, but it would have been nice to be slightly louder out of box. Comfort wise, they are so comfortable - feel so light on the head that you forget they are on, although one slight issue is they are a bit slidy on the head - so jogging with them on is pretty much out of the question on the tightest section. But I didn't buy these for exercise - they are great out and about on a gentle walk or at the shops, and great indoors of course. These headphones do have the option to be utilised wired as well so you can retain that extra margin of quality, and comes with both charging cable and aux (although only USB-C from the headphones themselves). Battery life is incredible - I actually fell asleep with them on and 8 hours later was surprised to be on 45% (started on 67%). Another small downside are the headphone's buttons - honestly they are awful - so small and I can never find them easily (doesn't really matter though as I just use my phone controls, or my PC) but it can be frustrating if you're often utilising the buttons. Honestly cannot really fault these headphones apart from the minor things mentioned - these are the best all-round headphones I've ever used. Superior sound quality with the ease of wireless with minimal loss of quality. Perfect price for the years you'll get out of them - make the jump, it'll save you money in the long run instead of buying cheaper headphones that will break easier in a year.

A case of "you get what you pay for" these headphones are pricey but the sound quality is outstanding. Although you have some tweakability in the EQ of the app, they sound perfect straight out of the box. There's an emphasis on bass and high end which gives a well balanced sound in all genres. Bowers & Wilkins are a British designed brand that have been around for decades. I hadn't heard of them before but all reviewers rate them extremely highly and I have to agree. Build quality is also exceptional, with a premium look and high quality materials used. They don't feel too weighty and they are comfortable to wear for extended periods. Backed up with an excellent 30hr battery life, you can easily wear these on a long haul flight without fatigue. There's plenty of room for your ears in the ear cups and the cushioning is definitely plush enough. They connect very fast and can swap between 2 seperate devices almost instantly. You also have the option to connect via a USB to headphone jack for direct connection. There's also an attractive hard case to store them in. Controls are push button, so no touch controls to get frustrated with (and you can operate them with gloves on of course). They offer an excellent ANC, and have a useful feature of pausing playback when you lift either of the cups from your ear. They may not be quite as noise cancelling as the other big players out there but they are pretty close and certainly I have no complaints on this. Negative points are not deal breakers. The clamping is a little tight, but I am assured they do relax a little as you wear them in. The app is very basic (but functional) it only offers a 5 band EQ and it's quite subtle. 3D audio isn't available yet, it's promised later this year (2025). They aren't foldable but they aren't bulky, so the case is quite compact. They are a worthwhile upgrade to the previous generation S2 and arguably better than the current P8 model. Overall these headphones are top quality and will not disappoint.

Firstly B & W should be praised for its open sound. The slimline look is very nice as well. Being slim line has a disadvantage that wasn't present on the previous PX7 series in that the buttons are more faff to find. You get used to it but it was perfect before and not so now. The sound can be tweaked in the app. I find them somewhat bassy out of the box but that is easily calmed in the app. Volume is the loudest I have heard on any heaphone there is plenty of headroom so no issue there. Speaking of the app it just basic. Noise Cancelling is OK it blocks quite a bit of noise but lacks the quietness of the Sony XM6 or Quiet Comfort Ultra. Both of those cans dont sound anywhere near as good though. Fit is fine for my head and build quality is superb as is the case. They are bettered by the PX8S2 but not by much. Battery life is solid as well giving you 30 hours before recharging. I have no connectivity issues.

The Px7 S3 is good, but comparatively, the low end is a bit more polite and less defined. ​Soundstage: This is the biggest difference. The Px8 S2 has a holographic, wide presentation that separates instruments beautifully. However, if you are like me and need a high-quality companion for the commute that saves your flagship gear from the wear and tear of travel, the Px7 S3 is the perfect pragmatic choice.

Let me be totally blunt. These PX7 s3's are a big step up from the PX7 2e's. And they made me wish I hadn't purchased the 2e's. Here's my opinion on the S3's.... 1. As usual, the build quality is exceptional. They're lighter than the 2e's. And better designed for the head. The clamping force is firmer without being uncomfortable. 2. Noise cancelling is not as important in my world. There has to be some outside noise leakage to let me hear things I may want to hear?. The NC works to a point. And it's good enough for me. 3. Battery life is what I expected. Up to 30 hours with NC on is good. I know there are h/phones with longer battery life out there. But how many of you wear your h/phones for the whole of the batteries charge cycle?. I know I don't. So it's a moot point really. The 30 hours are long enough. 4. Sound quality. I'm not a big fan of "graphic EQ's". I find that I constantly fiddle with them to improve sound without the need to. These S3's have a 5 band EQ. But I don't use it. The S3's have a "True Sound" facility in the app. And its very good indeed. The balance of sound is pretty much what I strive for when I'm messing around with said EQ. There is plenty of bass e.g. But it doesn't overpower the mids or highs. And once the "run in" period is reached. The S3's will have a balanced sound. P.s, the volume of these S3's is loud. At 50% they may cause hearing issues?. I'm using my pair at 35% volume, and thats more than enough. 5. The price of these are at a higher end than most other h/phones. But when compared to B&O's e.g. They are reasonable. Apparently the PX8 S2 is to be released later this year. And with Spatial Audio. But also later this year (via an update) the PX7 S3's will be Spatial compatible too. The PX8's are supposed to be B&W's flagship model. But they would have REALLY special to match these S3's. I do highly recommend buying these. Especially when the updates appear later this year.

Unfortunately, these headphones are too small for my big head. At full extension, I still couldn't get them to sit comfortably on my head. In addition, the ear cups are too small for my big ears. They are great headphones in every other respect, great sound, decent app, etc. They aren't much use though, if I can't wear them comfortably. Not recommended for the big headed and big eared among us.

Brilliant!!! Much better noise cancelling than my Sony XM3 and the quality, sound stage and overall performance of these are so much better. The bluetooth connects very quickly and they fit great with nothing sticking into your ears from the earcups. The buttons feel high quality with the metal, mesh and plastic build, but it is lightweight despite the metal. The app is great and let's you connect your streaming service and gives you a free 2 month trial of Qobuz for Hi Res music! The case is solid and has a magnetic cover for the cables to go in. It comes with a USB-C to Audio jack, and USB-C to USB-C cable. The clamping force is good and secure but doesn't cause any pain even with glasses on. The bass is instantly noticeably better than other headphones I have tried! It is so much more controlled and has no distortion even in the low sub frequencies. You can really feel the bass and the direction of the sounds playing with no distortion or compromise to quality. I highly recommend these over Sony XM6, and especially if you are coming from an older headphone like the XM3. Spatial audio is coming later this year too, which will be exciting to hear :)

Amazing sound indeed paired with free quobus subscription it's just comes alive. Unfortunately I have faced few issues. After a 1 hour or so session it started to produce some" wave sounds ' it's own. It's almost feels like a bug crawled into your ears and making this movement. Very unsettling. It's also very limited in terms of app options. The action button can only do one action either noise cancelling/ voice assistant. Why not both? No idea Unfortunately I will be sending them back as this wave sounds very difficult to live with as it has come up few many times already. I am not going to be bothered to order a replacement either. Build quality is amazing... Microphone is serviceable.

Çok uzun suren arastirmalarim sonunda bu üründe karar kildim ve dun elime ulaştı (beklenen tarihten 1 gun erken hatta). Ses kalitesi çok güzel keyifli bence. Ses seviyesini de gayet yeterli buldum. EQ ayarlarını değiştirip farklı ses karakterleri elde etmek güzel bence (ama tabii 5 band eq ayarı yerine Sony XM 6 gibi daha gelişmiş 10 band eq ayarı olsa daha da tatlı olabilirdi). Urun çok premium duruyor güven veriyor o konuda. Usb C kablo Macbooka bağlayıp Hi-Res Müzik dinlemek çok güzel hissettiriyor. Noice cancelling yeterince iyi bence (Bose QC Ultra Gen 2, Sony XM6 en iyileri). Birlikte gelen kutusu bile çok premium. Konfor olarak da fena degil (Bose QC Ultra Gen 2 en iyilerinden biri). Yakin zamanda True Immersion güncellemesi geldi ama yapılan yorumlardan anladigim kadarıyla pek beğenilmemiş belki sonra güncelleyip iyileştirirler (Spatial Audio onemliyse Sony XM6 daha uygun olabilir sizin adınıza). Ses kalitesi olarak rakiplerinden çok onde bence almamdaki en büyük faktör de bu oldu (malzeme kalitesi ve usb c dinleme imkanıyla birlikte). Benzer fiyatta Bose QC Ultra Gen 2 da var (Konfor & Active Noise Cancelling en on plandaysa daha doğru tercih olabilir). Bütçe olarak bu kadar çıkmak istemeyenler icin de PX7 S2e de fiyat/performans olarak harika bir alternatif. Bütçe olarak daha da cikmak isterseniz Sennheiser HDB 630, bowers & wilkins px8 s2 de çok güzel seçenekler. Ama PX7 S3'den baya memnunum su an icin tabii. Beni tatmin etti.

Una calidad premium y un sonido realmente espectacular Después de haber probado muchos auriculares de alta gama, puedo decir que los Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 están sin duda entre los mejores que he tenido. Se nota que están fabricados con mucho cuidado y atención al detalle, y para mí tienen algunos de los mejores acabados que he visto en unos auriculares de este tipo. Pero lo que más destaca es, sin duda, el sonido. Ofrecen una calidad de audio excepcional, con un sonido muy definido, equilibrado y con una gran riqueza de detalles. La experiencia de escucha es excelente tanto para música como para películas o cualquier otro contenido multimedia. Después de probar diferentes modelos de alta gama, estos me han sorprendido especialmente por la claridad y la calidad general del sonido. También me parecen muy cómodos para utilizarlos durante bastante tiempo, algo que considero fundamental en unos auriculares premium. La construcción se siente sólida y cuidada, pero sin resultar excesivamente pesados. He tenido la oportunidad de probar varios modelos de marcas reconocidas, incluidos diferentes Sony, y personalmente considero que estos Bowers & Wilkins están claramente por encima en cuanto a calidad de construcción y experiencia sonora. Superb sound

The sound is really good but they need to improve the ANC as it is less than Sony and Bose. Also, when you wear it for an hour you will feel discomfort.

Had to wait a delivery schedule from Amazon Germany, but worth it is. The bass sound and high-pitched tone have been stablized and richer than previous model. For sound quality-wise, even it could be compatible with Px8 , the flagship model ANC is quite strong although the other competitors like Sony, Boss are slightyl stronger than this.
