Dogtra 1900X Black Edition E-Collar - 1 Mile Range, Dogs 45 lbs+, IPX9K Waterproof, 100 Stimulation Levels, Vibration, Tone, Rechargeable - Ideal for Dog Owners and Professional Trainers

We have had this a few months now and have been happy with it. It has been effective in helping us curb some dangerous behaviors. It seems very well made and works just as it should. Our dog does swim with it on and that has not seemed to cause any issues. We did replace the strap with one that is easier for us to fasten/unfasten. This collar has allowed our dog to have more freedom to explore and play on our property without causing stress to the cows that freely roam as well. It has helped in improving recall too. I would say it has been worth the money spent on it.

The equipment's durability is evident: it's clear that it's very well made, using new materials. It might be helpful to have a promotional video showing how to follow the manual; it would make it easier to understand and could be linked to the manual via a QR code.

This is a top shelf, well built E collar. It has all the features and upland hunter will need.

I’ve been very impressed with Dogtra’s quality and reliability. The build quality feels premium, the remote is intuitive, and the response is consistent. The range and battery life have been excellent, making training much more efficient and predictable. What I appreciate most is that Dogtra focuses on clear communication with the dog rather than harsh corrections. When used properly as part of a structured training program, it’s an effective tool that helps reinforce commands and improve reliability. Overall, it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about training their dog. Highly recommended.

I’ve had a few training collars over the years with my past dogs. This is by far the best, they’ve thought of everything and it shows. Excellent quality! However if I could make one minor change, it would be to put the belt clip on some type of spring system. It is very very difficult to get on the belt, it’s much to tight. But that’s the ONLY negative about it. I love this E-Collar!

I bought this product on January 23, 2026 and about a month ago the paging and stimulate quit working when it should have been fully charged. Tried to turn it off to reset and it would not power down. Finally, got it to power down and it started vibrating and couldn’t get it to stop. Had to leave it outside because it was vibrating all over. Very disappointed in the product as I have used these before and they lasted much longer. The return website is virtually impossible to use because the options will not fill in when touched.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I want to warn others about this! First off, the “black edition” is kind of a lie. I’ve only had this for a month and the black paint on the device has already come nearly all off. Not the end of the world, but if I spend more money for a certain color, I’d like for the product to be that color. Now for the warning: the prongs that come on the collar are long, which might work well for a longer haired dog, but I have a Great Dane. Since my dog has short hair, the prongs absolutely tore his skin up. And by that I mean he has scars now from a staph infection he got from the cuts and rash it gave him. It took two rounds of antibiotics for it to go away. Was not a fun time for either of us. To give the benefit of the doubt, I am now trying the comfort pad prongs (you have to buy them separately) to see if this will work better and not give him issues bc other than the literal staph infection it gave my dog, it’s actually a good ecollar functionality wise. It has great functions and features that work well for the both of us for his training. To wrap up this review: if you have a short haired dog, PLEASE be careful with this and go ahead and buy the comfort pad prongs in advance, so hopefully you can save your dog (and your wallet) from a staph infection.
