I really like how smooth and quiet this mouse is; it performs great and looks really sleek. It is on the smaller side and doesn’t offer pinky support, so I do expect some stiff pinky finger fatigue over time. I’m giving it 3 stars because the battery life was disappointing. I received it on April 6, 2026, used it that same day, and already had to replace the battery 16 days later on April 22, 2026. I used 2 AAA Energizer batteries. I was careful to turn it off when not in use and avoided using the eye light feature to preserve power, but the battery still drained pretty quickly. The red eye lighting IS cool and it connects very well so no issues there as of yet.

Worked

I got this mouse a week ago, but wanted to wait until my new mousepad arrived to use it. I put 2 brand new Duracell batteries in it and, after 5 minutes of me turning the switch from off to on, it finally powered up. I loaded a game on-line and it worked great for 5 minutes, then the lights shut off and mouse wouldn't do anything, then the lights came on again and it worked for about 3 more minutes, then shut off again. Mouse stopped working about 5 times in 15 minutes, so I finally unplugged it and plugged my old mouse back in. When I went to put the mouse back in the box, I realized the bottom of it was very hot. I opened the battery compartment and took the batteries out and they were so hot, I expected them to explode at any second. On another note, I could tell the mouse was probably used when I got it and I almost returned it when I opened it. The box has a picture of the gold/red Iron Man mouse, but this is the black/red one and they usually are seating in preformed plastic in the shape of the mouse, so it doesn't move around in the box. Mine arrived in a bubble wrap pouch that moved loosely around the box. I'm setting up a return for this now.

So far battery life is good. Has 2 settings; with or without glowing eyes. Does take 2 AA batteries which is just one more battery compared to my Logitech so biggie. Use it for my MacBook Pro (old edition with USB port but no DVD Drive) and works great. The lights are vibrant enough that it’s not distracting. Got tons of compliments at school and my friend ended up getting one too.
