High Potency Fish Oil Without The Usual Downsides
I have tried a handful of fish oil supplements over the years and this one stands out in a few important ways. The main reason I gave it a shot was the higher EPA and DHA levels per serving which saves me from taking a pile of capsules each day. The softgels are a bit larger but still easy enough to take with a glass of water. What I noticed right away is the lack of that fishy aftertaste that tends to show up later in the day with other brands. That alone makes a big difference for me since that has been my main complaint with fish oil in the past. After a few weeks of consistent use I noticed some mild improvements in joint comfort especially in the mornings. Nothing dramatic but enough to keep me on it. It also sits well with my stomach which is not always the case with higher dose supplements. The bottle size is decent for the price and the overall quality comes through in how clean and consistent the product is. It is not something I think about much day to day which is probably a good sign that it is doing its job without causing issues. Overall this is a premium, high potency fish oil that avoids the usual drawbacks. If you want a strong dose without the lingering taste this one is worth the money.

Great Formula but a Bit Expensive
If you want a strong dose of fish oil without the lingering taste, this one is worth looking into. It is a highly potent formula that provides a significant amount of EPA and DHA per serving, meaning you do not have to take a handful of pills every day just to get an effective dose. The softgels are on the larger side, which is standard for high-potency Omega-3s, but they are still smooth and easy to swallow. The biggest plus is that there is absolutely no fishy aftertaste or "burp-back" later in the day, which makes it much easier to stick with long-term. It uses the triglyceride form, which is highly bioavailable, and I like that it is NSF Certified for Sport. However, the cost is definitely a factor. At around forty-seven dollars for just a 30-day supply, it is quite expensive compared to other quality fish oils on the market. That premium price comes from the rigorous third-party testing and high potency. While I can trust its quality and transparency, it is up to you if the cost fits your budget. I am giving it four stars.

Nice Clean Omega Supplement - Premium Quality
I ordered this omega supplement for both myself and my husband since we have been trying to stay on top of heart health as we age. What stood out right away is the higher potency so we are getting a respectable amount in just a couple softgels. The pills are smooth and easy to swallow which makes it simple to take. One thing I always worry about with fish oil is the aftertaste but this one has been surprisingly clean. There is no lingering fishy taste and no repeat later in the day. That alone makes a big difference because it is much easier to stick with a supplement that does not cause discomfort. After taking it daily for a few weeks it has become part of our daily course without any issues. There have been no stomach problems and it sits well even when taken with a light meal. I also like that it uses a triglyceride form which is something I look for when choosing omega supplements. This is a straight forward and reliable option for anyone wanting a higher strength omega supplement without the usual drawbacks. It is a solid addition to a daily wellness routine.

Balanced Support with a Clean Finish
After taking Designs for Health OmegAvail Hi-Po for two weeks, I can safely say it’s one of the most effective fish oils I’ve tried. What sets this apart is the rare 1-to-1 ratio of 800mg EPA and 800mg DHA. Most brands skew heavily toward one or the other, but this balanced profile has noticeably improved my mental clarity and reduced post-workout joint stiffness. Safety & Experience No Fishy Burps: The inclusion of lipase is a stroke of genius. It aids fat digestion, meaning I’ve had zero "fishy" aftertaste or digestive upset. Stability: The DeltaGold tocotrienols act as a high-end stabilizer to keep the oil from going rancid, which is a major concern with cheaper brands. Purity: Sourced from Alaska pollock, it feels much cleaner than generic "mystery fish" oils.

Solid, high-potency omega-3 with no fishy aftertaste
I’ve been impressed with the quality of this fish oil. The 1500 mg omega-3 per serving (split evenly between EPA and DHA) is a strong dose compared to most standard supplements, so you don’t need to take a handful of pills to get meaningful benefits. The biggest win for me is the lack of fishy aftertaste—no burps or lingering flavor, which is usually the dealbreaker with fish oil. The softgels are a bit on the larger side, but still manageable. I also like that it uses the triglyceride form, which is supposed to be better absorbed, and the NSF certification adds some peace of mind on quality. The only downside is the price—it’s definitely on the premium side—but you are getting a higher potency product. NOTE: this bottle needs to be refrigerated once you open it. I forgot the first night but noticed the message on the bottle the next so hopefully I'm still good. We shall see.
