This is extremely sharp, good weight and a balanced feel. It handles beef and pork bones with ease. Very classical look really beautiful. I could see this becoming a family heirloom

Exactly what I have been looking for for years, wasted money on cheap cleavers that costed triple this one but got mingled from chopping a simple bone. This one is heavy and balanced delivering the right weight to crack goat bones, slices through them like butter BE VERY CAREFUL IT IS LASER SHARP! The handle is exquisite, I wish I could display it to admire it but I have kids and I hate for them to try to grab it cause it is so gorgeous, I love dragons and this art is "wow" for lack of better words.

Definitely looks amazing, they put a lot of effort into the pieces, and they are put together well. Even the leather case looks nice and is very thick. It's solid and heavy, you could chop wood with this thing. Not too sure about practicality for food use. It's safe to use, but if you got food stuck in the crevices, they might be tough to get out, and I'm not too sure about soaking this thing.

The knife looks a bit oily as I unboxed it (a quick water cleanse should do it). Beware for people who does not have a strong arm since this knife is rather heavy then regular cleaver (as in description). I am giving it a 4 stars since this knife is a bit dull when I first got it (I cut my middle finger while chopping), had to re-sharpen it myself. At the price range of $50-ish, I would expect it to be sharpened professionally before getting to the consumer-end.

My wife bought this for me this passed Christmas. I freakin' love it. Heavy, sharp, gorgeous and one of the best things you could by your blade lover. I have every designer from Gil Hibbon to Brian Kramer and more. This is right up there with my "War Bird" dagger.
