3 Jar Set, Stack & Store Jars with Airtight Stackable Lid, (2) 4 Cup and (1) 9.9 Cup

Great jars. Bought because the Stack & Store line with this type of push-to-close lid seems to have been discontinued and we wanted to add to our existing set of jars. If you are starting to collect a set from scratch, you might want to look at a different Ball product line.

I’m back for my second set! I think a 4-½ star rating is more accurate, but leans slightly more to the 5 side than the 4 side. In other words, I would give them a 9 instead of a 10. I keep thinking I’m done with purchasing food storage jars & canisters, and I find myself here again. I am also buying an 80 oz ceramic canister. Done doesn’t seem to stay “done“. I do prefer these push lids to the metal clasp ones & wooden ones. I have always felt the metal clasp lids on the XL jars feel as though they are going to fly apart when closing them. Then what would you do to effectively seal your large spendy food storage jars? I’m really happy with this set, thus why I am back for my second set. I am vegan & have consequently converted everything over to organic. I want to protect my food investment! It takes awhile to transition, so I have acquired a variety of storage solutions, which I purchased along the transitioning way. I have no complaints about the seal on these jars, in fact, I believe these have a better seal than the wooden lids available. I have plenty of those, too. I also find the wooden lids more limiting than the glass lids. You can put the glass lids in the fridge and the dishwasher without worrying about warping, as you would with wooden ones. Also, the glass lids are far more secure for stacking. These lids were designed for stacking, whereas the wooden ones are completely smooth without rims or ridges. It depends on your household & how busy it is on a daily basis, or if you need to consider earthquakes in your area. I probably have a dozen or more wooden lids I don’t use at this time. Remember to keep your herbs, spices, tea, coffee in containers which blocks light., such as ceramic or stainless steel. Synthetic materials will leech into your food & you will end up consuming those chemicals. It adds up over time.

I love these jars. I have sliding drawers in my pantry and the jars dont fall over.

Ended up returning. They didn’t seem airtight and were also very large and heavy, not to mention expensive. Will continue looking for the right product to suit my needs.
