I previously had one, but it stopped working after two years, so I ordered a new one, which is working perfectly and I'm thrilled with the product. It saves me electricity since I no longer accidentally leave the fan or light on. The new remote is very handy! Also, it uses a 12V cell, and when I replaced the old remote's cell with the new one, it started working again. If the circuit ever stops working, I'll check the cell's voltage; if it's below 11V, the remote's light will glow, but it won't function. Note that the cells are a bit pricey and are only available online, but they last for about 1-2 years, depending on usage.
