Sheer For It Blush Tint, Left On Red

​I picked up the e.l.f. Sheer For It Tint in the "Plums Up" shade. Liquid blushes and tints can be hit or miss, so here is my breakdown on how this specific formula and shade perform. ​🎨 Color & Skin Tone Match: In the tube, the plum color looks quite dark and intimidating, but it sheers out beautifully. On my Light-Medium Neutral Warm complexion, it leaves a very natural, "just out of the cold" flush without pulling overly purple or looking like a bruise. It complements neutral-warm undertones perfectly. ​💧 Formula & Finish: I strictly prefer a matte, shine-free finish for my everyday makeup. While many liquid tints on the market stay tacky or overly dewy, this e.l.f. formula dries down and sets completely. It doesn't disrupt my matte foundation or powder underneath, which is a massive plus. It feels weightless on both the cheeks and the lips. This tint stains very quickly. If you dot it directly onto your cheeks and wait even five seconds to blend, it will leave a harsh, unblendable ring. Pro-tip: Apply a little bit to the back of your hand first, pick it up with a dense brush or a damp sponge, and then stipple it onto your cheeks. For $5, it's an incredible multi-use product that rivals high-end lip and cheek stains. Just be aware of the fast drying time and use the right application technique! I got Mauve Actually color. The color is pretty and it blends between red and pink, not too dark or too bright. It seems natural color which is nice for everyday use. I applied one swipe both on my upper and lower lips and that's enough for me. I usually top it with lip balm or lip oil to make it more shiny. It can be last for few hours and even after sipping drinks, there is still stain on my lips which is really good. I have neutral lips color and it can cover my real lips with its color. Let's say it is really has nice effect on my lips. The price is unbelievable cheap as well. If you have dry lips, you may need to apply lip balm or lip oil too. It has nice color but not moisturizer. As in the photo, I drank some drinks but color was still pretty. I will buy other colors from them.

This is absolutely amazing. It's a beautiful color that stands out against my pale skin, but not too much. I noticed when I used it as a blush that it seems to have a bit of a shimmer to it, although I think it blended in with my natural lip color too much to tell when it was on my lips, because I didn't notice it then. However, it is very smudge proof, the tint doesn't transfer onto cup rims or straws. So far, it has lasted me at least 3 hours, it probably lasts longer, I just haven't actually used it throughout an entire day yet. I tried it when I first got it at 6pm, and it was still on at 9pm, so do with that what you will. When it comes to its consistency, it starts off as a very thin redish liquid, but it's not so thin that it would run off of your lips or cheeks. It takes around 30 seconds to dry it seems. When it's still wet, you can easily wipe it away with just your finger if you make a mistake, and it doesn't feel sticky to me. Once it dries, you can put whatever on it. I used lip liner and lip gloss. It does have a little bit of a shine to it on its own, but I prefer a more glossy look. Essentially, you can use it to look more matte or glossy. It did not transfer any color onto my lip gloss applicator when I applied it, which is good because I would prefer if my clear gloss stayed clear. But again, remember to let it dry. I don't think the lip tint has any fragrance to it, but I also can't smell very well, so who knows. It probably doesn't, as that would be unnecessary, but I can't tell you for sure. I really love this, it was a great purchase in my opinion. I will definitely be buying it again when I run out. My mother and sister also tried some of it, and they loved it as well. 10/10, highly recommend.

I love this color, it works with my skin tone and looks almost like a sunburnt rose color. Once you put it on you need to work super fast as it dries in literally 1.5 seconds. I have found that using a makeup brush is best as opposed to your fingers. I put lotion on first and that helps blend it out better. The color does not last super long but that is okay.

I really love this lip tint! The color is beautiful and gives my lips a natural, fresh look without feeling too heavy. It’s easy to apply, blends nicely, and feels comfortable throughout the day. I also like that it leaves a pretty stain even after the glossy finish fades. Overall, it’s a great everyday lip product and I would definitely recommend it!

OK, so I erased my old review because I was upset that they do not stay like they should like it. It’s plain that they stain and as long lasting but it absolutely is not. You do have to keep reapplying every couple hours and that is very very annoying, but it’s something about this formula. That is so good like the stain is so good. I love her brown lip and I love a burgundy lip and these are just amazing. Even though I had to keep reapplying, it’s so worth it because you can throw on a lip liner and put on this thing and it works so well you do have to make sure your lips are not too dry but also make sure they’re moisturized as well because if not, you’re gonna get a very uneven look and it’s gonna look a little rusty in the middle towards the inside of the lip so I always do like a Vaseline or Chapstick and then I’ll pad it dry and then I’ll put on the lip stain and do a gloss over top with a lip liner and I just love them so much. I just got the brown stain and I’m literally obsessed like it’s so good and the lip stain is so lightweight like it just sinks into your lips. It’s such a thin watery liquid, but it’s honestly perfect like you can’t win them all and you know so if you love a good lightweight lip stain that gives really good coverage even if you have to keep reapplying I mean it’s kind of just like a lipstick most lipsticks don’t stay on very long. I do wish this stain lasted longer but hey, it is what it is. It’s absolutely divine. I loved them. I just got my fourth color because I just can’t get enough and I’ve gone through so many lip stains, but this is definitely my top one

I love this lip stain! The color is really pretty and, most importantly, it actually stays on for a long time. I like being able to put it on without having to constantly reapply throughout the day. It gives my lips a nice pop of color while still feeling much easier to wear than a traditional lipstick. Definitely one I’ll keep reaching for, especially when I want some color that I don’t have to think about touching up all the time.

I use this primarily as a lip tint. It leaves a lovely stain that lasts through a meal. It is not as long-term lastly as some others, however I have not experienced drying as with some. It goes on quickly. Is best used with a liner. It is non-stop sticky and no offense scent. Great for the price! I do not use it as a cheek tint because my skin is dry.

Great value for money! The bottle is small but the product lasts for a while and it goes on well. I'm surprised by the staying power and the way you can build the shade up with multiple layers. I haven't used a lip liner and it still held fairly well with crisp lines around the lips. The only watch-out is that you need to be careful when applying. It's very watery, which helps it go on smoothly, but it also means that you need to get your lips shape drawn in well. The texture is also nice, doesn't feel heavy on the lips and doesn't leave any stains behind once dried. I've eaten and drunk with it on and it held ok, with some colour bleeding away in the centre of the lips but nothing you wouldn't expect from any lip stain. Overall, very impressed! Love the shades too. I have this in cherry cola and plumps up, and both are lovely. I'd say they are quite deep in colour which is what I was after as I like a bold lip. If you are looking for something more natural or already have a naturally darker lip shade, you might want to go with some of the lighter shades.
