Works well, as long as you change regularly
I have tried so many things to include prescription meds, and these patches work the best so far. They stop the swelling, pain, and unsightliness. One thing I noticed that people should take care of is it change the patch every 1-2 hours depending on how much the sore is oozing. Otherwise, they aren’t going to stick or work very well in terms of keeping the spread down. I used this on a cold sore under my nose just before the blister stage. 2 days later and the sore is completely dried up with zero tenderness or scarring. These are way better than using hydrocolloid patches as they come off easily and you don’t risk breaking a scab when you remove them.

Excellent product
I have never used a patch for my cold sores but gave these a try. They work really well and I can see a huge difference in the healing after only 2 days. It took a few times putting them on to figure out what works.I'm older and have wrinkles around my mouth so that was a challenge, but I found that pushing my tongue under the sore while placing the patch really helps keep it in place. I also use sharp scissors to cut about 1/4 of the patch off so that it's not trying to stick onto the lower part of my lip that curls against my teeth. This has helped to prevent the patch from coming loose sooner than it needs to. I have used about 12 of them in 2 days, but a lot of that was because of the patch coming loose from the inside of the mouth moisture on my lip that loosened the bottom part of the patch. Since cutting away that part before application, they're staying in place a lot longer. I think this product is well worth it for this price. I've used creams that cost the same or more that don't work half as well, likely because the cream soaks in or rubs off so quickly. These patches soothe the pain and itch, locking in the medication and locking out everything else. I also find I am better able to leave the sore alone as before the patch I would find myself worrying the sore with my tongue and messing with the scab. I will definitely be keeping these on hand for the next breakout. 100% recommend trying these.

Awesome
Excellent product and much cheapttha the moderna ones I've been using for years. They don't stick as well but the medicinal add ins were a great compliment to red light therapy. I had six (!!!!) cold sores at once after a very hard week and these were a lifesaver.

They work
I started using these on the third day of my break out. They're soothing and take the itching and pain away. The next day the blister had already started to scab over and by the 5th day started falling off. Now I just have a small reddish spot on my lip. I think they're worth the price and I think they'll work even better if I start using them as soon as I feel the familiar tingling and itching starting. My one complaint is the part that covers your lip starts to curl within an hour+ after applying. The part on your skin adheres very well. So well it's kind of hard to remove. When applying, I made sure my lip was dry but I think bc the blister was moist it made it curl. I recommend not drinking or getting you lips wet while wearing. Last night I applied one and since it's practically healed the dot stayed in place. I've tried all the creams, ointments and home remedies but I like these the best. They ease the discomfort, not messy and doesn't get in your mouth, and work quickly. I gave them 4 stars bc of the curling on the lip.

Not sure if they actually help
I’ve been using these for a bit, but it’s honestly hard to tell if they are actually speeding up the healing process or just acting as a cover. The patches do a decent job of staying on and keeping the area protected from getting irritated, which is nice if you want to keep things hidden. However, compared to just using a regular balm, I’m not seeing a massive difference in how fast the cold sore goes away. They aren't bad, but since I can't really tell if the lysine is doing much, I’m sticking with a 3/5.
