Hi, the chipset of BrosTrend AC3L Linux USB WiFi adapter is Realtek RTL8812AU. This is the latest AC chipset that supports Linux OS. Currently, our driver can work with kernels up to and including 5.0. We tested that it could work with Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04, Debian MATE, Debian GNOME 9.4 and 17.10, Ubuntu Unity 14.04 and 16.04, Ubuntu KDE, Linux Mint Cinnamon, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, and Raspberry Pi 2+ In case you place an order of BrosTrend AC3L, please feel free to contact us by sending an email to support@brostrend.com and let us know your Amazon order number.
