Toning Spray

I’ve reordered this leave-in spray about five times now—it’s one of my go-to products for maintaining my purple / blonde color between salon visits. It really helps keep the brassy tones at bay and keeps my hair looking fresh and cool-toned longer. That said, the bottle is small. Since I use it a few times a week, I go through it quickly and wish a larger size was available. It would be so much more convenient (and cost-effective) for regular users like me. One small caution—if you’re in a small bathroom and not paying close attention while spraying, you might end up with a little purple tint on your walls or counter! It’s not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. I’ve tried using it both before and after drying my hair and haven’t noticed a big difference either way. Still, it’s effective, easy to use, and smells nice. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to keep tones bright and brass-free between appointments!

This product has been a life saver during the pandemic. It has blended my roots so it’s not as obvious that I have not had any color since January - almost 5 months now. It smells like grapefruit- fresh and clean. It’s a little pricey but a fantastic product. I have ash blonde color on grey roots.

My hair is almost all white, and I live in the country so well water only. Our water is hard. This product was recommended by my hairdresser, so no more orange hair! Or if you live in the city use this to counter act the chlorinated water and yellow residue.

No matter what ash color I put on my hair, after a few washes it starts looking more yellow. I hate this but this sprayon Surface Violate spray does the trick! I haven't had it long to see if any will stay on. There's one thing I think everyone should beware of. It stains things it lands on. I'm still trying to remove it from my white bathroom door. Still I'm glad I got it. I'll just be careful. I feel it's rather expensive, but so far, worth it.

I have dark brown hair with highlights I try to keep on the cooler side. This is truly one of the ONLY leave-in products I’ve used that I actually notice makes a difference in the tone of my hair. The smell is amazing - almost orange-y but not quite.. just smells clean and bright and fresh! And it makes my hair feel soft. I used to use a similar product from this company that was basically the same but not for toning and this is just as great! Will continue to repurchase. Amazon customer service was great when this item arrived damaged/exploded.
