Worth Every Penny
I work retail and use this box cutter daily. It runs circles around the metal-bladed ones provided by my employer. I unload multiple u-boats of packages once a week and use it to cut down cardboard boxes most days. The Westcott housing is comfortable and works great but the Slice ceramic blade is the real star of the show here. I've been using one side of the two-sided blade for over a year. Rarely do I have an issue with the blade getting gummed up from the tape holding the boxes together. It just doesn't happen. I've used this box cutter enough that the plastic is wearing away and the blade actually protrudes a bit from the housing when fully retracted. Sadly, the spring mechanism that retracts the blade into the body recently failed. It's not really an issue for me and it did last over a year but the blade may outlast the plastic body. There's no doubt that the Slice blade has saved me from cutting myself multiple times. The ceramic blade will not cut you as easily as a metal razor blade. You would have to use some serious pressure to get this blade to cut skin. At the same time, it'll glide through corrugated cardboard. That said, if you open a lot of taped-together cardboard boxes or just need to cut down cardboard regularly, I highly recommend this tool. I'd also recommend attaching it to a retractable badge holder to keep it handy.

Um tanto frágil.
Achei um pouco frágil. Consegui abrir as caixas, mas acho que talvez seria melhor eu ter comprado um maior. Dá pro gasto, como se diz.

Westcott Safety Knife with Ceramic Blade
Difficult to use. You have to keep constant pressure on the button to extend the blade, which makes it awkward to use. A locking mechanism would be better. I wouldn’t recommend it.
